After winning their first game, Chooks to Go Pilipinas suffered their first loss in the hands of Sareyyet Ramallah of Palestine with the score of  89-82.
First quarter drought proved to be too much for the Philippine team, as they were relegated to chasing the Palestine all game long. Sareyyet Ramallah overall played well against the Philippines shooting 41% against 38% of the Philippines, they also attempted 12 more shots and has converted 10 of their 26 three-point attempts.
Kiefer Ravena and Jeron Teng were the bright spots for the Philippines contributing a combined 42 points but their contribution wasn’t enough to withstand Palestine. Isaiah Austin had nothing special going on scoring only 13 points with 8 rebounds while falling short on his 3 three-point attempts.
Palestine was just too much for the young Philippine team as they were outrebounded (50-46), out-assisted (16-10) and overall outplayed by the better Palestinian team.
The Philippine team now falls to 1 win and 1 loss and is scheduled to face Mono Vampire of Thailand next.
