Dana White on "Tough Crowd"

UFC 188 has ended we have a new champion. But during the fights boos rained down on several bout, including Tecia Torres‘ win over Angela Hill, andCathal Pendred’s workmanlike victory over Mexico native Augusto Montano.

In the post-fight press conference,  UFC president Dana White was asked what he thought of Mexico having a “Tough Crowd.?”
“It was a very educated crowd, and a huge moment for us — huge moment for me because I’ve been waiting for so long to get into Mexico. And then when the main event started, there was not one…when this thing sold out, when you talk about a sell out, there’s a lot of times we’ll sell out an arena and there’ll be some single seats left. There wasn’t one single seat left in this arena. Completely sold out. And in the main event, I don’t know if any of you looked around, packed to the rafters and everybody had their lights on. It was awesome, man. It wasn’t a tough crowd, it was an educated crowd. Amazing.”
White reiterated, too, that Mexico has traditionally been a country of boxing fans.

Werdum shocked the world to defeat Cain Velasquez

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

It was a great match nonetheless Werdum had the perfect game plan to win this game. It was a bit surprising as Cain Velasquez got tired and Werdum was tagging him and eventually choked out the champ via Guillotine.

Ufc 188 There can only be ONE

UFC 188: Velasquez vs. Werdum is an upcoming mixed martial arts event that will be held on June 13, 2015 at Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. The fight was originally set at UFC 180. However, Velasquez pulled out of the bout due to a knee injury and the event was instead headlined by an interim title bout between Werdum and Mark Hunt.

Cain with a 4 time winning streak and a career record of (13-1-0) doesn’t think his gonna leave the throne anytime soon, but Fabricio (19-5-1) has been on a streak on his own winning every bout since Febuary of 2012 this will be a battle to know who is the baddest man on the planet.
