Apparently Dirk received a gift  from Muhammad Ali. One of the greatest boxer of all time.
The gift was a golden boxing gloves. Dirk liked it a lot so Dirk Nowitzki returned the favor and give Ali a gift as well.

After many NBA seasons, Dirk Nowitzki finally got a championship in his belt. He was so  happy that he even cried after the game, his teammates have to drag him back inside the ring for the awarding ceremony. It was a momentous moment for Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas franchise. 
Finally the first championship trophy in the city of Dallas and along with it , usually players gets a championship ring, it’s automatic that you have to get one. It’s one of the symbol and a representation of success, but Mark Cuban has a different plan and he might not give his team a ring. Maybe its a bracelet or an earring? Haha! What will Mark be getting Dirk and the Mavs then? (source)

Lebron James was received warmly by the city of Miami, were He then promise them a title and a dynasty. Together with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh the Miami Heat was expected to have a good showing in the NBA, and so they did it with heavy fire power and a winning streaks heading to present time, NBA Finals. 
Miami heat was on fire and was ready to take the championship, until recently they encountered the resilient Dirk and the Mavericks. With their recent lost at home the Miami Heat dream of being a the 2011 NBA Champion will be harder to get than any of us expected.
Miami Heat is now taking the heat as they suffered their first lost of the series. Expect a hot showing by Dirk and the Dallas Mavericks as they try to spoil and bring down the emerging Miami Heat dynasty.

Dirk and the Mavs rally to win from behind!

Dirk Nowitzki is nothing less but unstoppable tonight as they defeat the Oklahoma thunder via comeback win.
Dirk registered 40 big points while he gets some defensive help late in the quarter by his team mates Shawn Marion and Jason Kidd. The Thunders who led all the way until the last few minutes are stunned by the resilient Mavericks. Durant and Westbrook could not make a good play late in the game. some of the crowd left and didn’t even finish the game as Mavericks shows a defensive stop after another. Harden who fouled out late in the fourth quarter could have changed the complexity of the game for the Thunders as they now trail 1 – 3 in the series. source

Yao is reportedly to be staying with his current team the Rockets, this is good news for the Rockets , or is it really?

Yao is one of the best center in the NBA and there is no doubt a bout it, whats in doubt is his health, Yao has been plagued with injuries and was unable to play majority of the season. So is this good or bad?

Dirk on the other hand is just trying to ensure his future by opting  out and bargaining to get a longer term, reports said that he is not really considering to transfer and is not interested with what other teams have to offer.
