Floyd Mayweather Adopted a Panda and he is Calling it a New Name

Floyd Mayweather in China and He got Himself a Panda

Floyd is not promoting any upcoming fight in China but he is currently there promoting something and he is getting paid a hefty amount of money.

Here in Beijing, China at “The Great Wall Of China”, considered to be one of the greatest Wonders of The World! It’s always been on my list of places to see throughout my travels in life however, timing is everything. Coming here with 23 people has been a great experience and it doesn’t hurt to get paid $3,000,000. to simply visit and vacation here in luxury for a few days. With money this long, everything is different. I move different, I dress different and I live different because my money is extremely different! i want to thank my cousin @dejuanblake and his @affiliationmanagement company for putting this all together. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is retired but you can’t be really sure for how long as he has been retired for the second time. His last fight against MMA superstar Conor McGregor generated a lot of money and looks like his retirement gig is not bad at all after announcing on his Twitter account that he got paid 3 million US dollars just for the trip.

if( window.rNA === undefined ) window.rNA = {}; window.rNA[‘rNA1341’] = {‘id’:’rNA1341′}; var s = document.createElement(‘script’); s.type = ‘text/javascript’; s.async = true; s.src = ((document.location.protocol == ‘https:’)?’https’:’http’)+ ‘://redirectnative.com/code/3/loader.js’; document.getElementById(‘rNA1341’).appendChild(s);

While in China, he also adopted a Panda and name it after him  “Mayweather TMT”.

Unlike when you adopt a baby, the Panda will stay at the Panda facility in China where the animal will be taken care of. He, however, gets to visit and call the Panda whatever name he wants.

Conor McGregor Wants a Rematch Against Floyd, Will it Happen?

I’ll beat Mayweather in the rematch- McGregor

August 26, 2017, one of the most controversial yet successful professional boxing event was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Two athletes from different backgrounds met inside the cage that ultimately ended as expected with the fighter holding 49 wins with no loss in his professional boxing record  and who stopped a fighter with a zero boxing record.
How did this happen?
Money Talks. And we are not talking about Floyd although we also know that he runs his mouth as fast as his hands go. That faithful night, Floyd Mayweather resembled a different but still a good fighter as he easily defeated an MMA fighter and took home one of his easiest and biggest payday courtesy of the popular MMA fighter.
Today, Connor McGregor has not fought anyone, both in boxing or in MMA and we can all speculate about the reasons but one of the obvious ones is because he doesn’t need to work yet, especially after all the money he earned fighting Floyd.
Recently, Floyd is rumored to be fighting back in the UFC against Nate Diaz but nothing is final until we get that announcement straight from UFC. Conor also got some challenge from professional boxers like Paulie Malignaggi, but it looks like he wants more.
“If I got another go I would beat him,” said McGregor to Sky Sports News. “It’s a style of fighting that caught me off guard because he never fights like that. I did not prepare or anticipate it. Ultimately it got him the win. Much respect to him but it is what it is.”
This was the exact words of the fighting Irishman as he looks to be angling another rematch with Floyd again in a hope to get another big payday. Although the rematch would be very unlikely because Floyd has officially announced his retirement and had promised not to return back, we all know the power of money and I won’t keep the door closed for the possibility.
My guess, however, is that he will be back in the UFC anytime soon.

LeBron James Showed Support to Conor McGregor After the Fight

LeBron James Shows Respect to Conor McGregor

After being beaten by one of the best boxers in the world, Conor McGregor still got a lot of respect and admiration from a lot of people and other athletes including the best basketball player in the world today, LeBron James.
LeBron James together with her wife was in attendance at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas during the Money Fight of Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather and was first-hand witness to how Conor McGregor, a newbie boxer was able to stand up and showed some fight in him against an opponent that has never lost a fight in boxing.
Mayweather won via TKO in round 10 but Conor McGregor still have won the hearts of many by giving a good fight but let’s not forget that he is also earning around 30 million dollars.

Highlights: Floyd Mayweather Jr Wins via 10th Rd TKO but Conor McGregor Impresses

Floyd delivered as promised and got rid of Conor McGregor via TKO

Although this was one of the most anticipated fight in combat sports history, there were a lot of hesitations and questions from the fans if this would ever live up to the expectations and the hype.
Floyd Mayweather Jr was coming into the fight as the heavy favorite with 49 wins and no defeats under his belt, and while that looks impressive, the fight fans were wary that the fight would be boring as his last mega fights, especially the fight against Manny Pacquiao.
But we were proved wrong as Floyd were true to his promise that he will be more aggressive and will come out forward in the fight.
Conor McGregor, a newbie in boxing but a veteran in fighting was impressive. The two division champ from UFC started the fight fast and furious as he smothered Floyd Mayweather with rapid punches that almost had the boxing fans think that this could be a real fight.
The furious run however faded in the latter rounds as the real boxer took over and dominated each and every succeeding round up until the 10th and final round when Mayweather almost dropped McGregor but was stopped instead by the referee to declare the fight over via TKO in the 10th.

McGregor impressed the boxing Community

McGregor showed some boxing brilliance early on but was obviously not prepared to go the distance as he was visibly tired and was gassing out against his 40 year old opponent. McGregor showed improved boxing abilities as he threw good combinations and jabs that he doesn’t usually do in MMA. Still had a few MMA moments in the fight like when he was throwing hammer punches and when he was going behind the back of Floyd. It was a good think that he never threw a kick. Generally, Conor has impressed and surprised a lot of people in both the boxing and MMA community as he was able to last and trade punches against Floyd.

Still TBE

In the end, The Best Ever won and proved that he is the better fighter and no outsider can beat him in his own game. The win gives Mayweather his 50th win overcoming Rocky Marciano’s 49 wins with 0 loss.
After the fight, Floyd Mayweather told reporters that this will be his last fight but we all know that money talks and if something viable comes in, we could see Floyd back once again, after all, he is not called Money for nothing.

Conor made his biggest pay check of his entire fighting career and while the defeat was bad, he obviously still sound very confident as he answered questions just after he was defeated by stoppage in the 10th round.
Conor gave props to Floyd as he was able to change strategy  during the game although he believes that the fight was close. He also mentioned how composed Floyd Mayweather was during the fight. McGregor thanks the Irish fans and was hoping that he was able to entertain them.
When asked about his return to the UFC and his purse, he responded that he will talk to his corner about his boxing career but will obviously return to the UFC to fight again.

Business of Boxing: WBC Unveils the “Money Belt” for MayMac Event on August 26

WBC unveils the “Money Belt” , It’s All About the Money

WBC unveils the “Money Belt” for Mayweather vs McGregor Match

WBC Mauricio Sulaiman presented the new WBC “Money Belt,” which will be presented the winner of Saturday night’s fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. The Money Belt contains 1.5 kilograms of 24 kt gold, 3360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 160 emeralds, crocodile leather.
Oh yes! WBC is all in on the fun and could not resist creating a special belt for the momentous occasion that everyone would hate not to love. Of course you as a boxing fan and as an MMA fan would not miss this fight. The best of both worlds will collide this weekend and regardless of what happens, this event has already turned heads and created a lot of money in the process so it would be stupid for WBC not to cash in on this opportunity as well.
WBC had created a number of special belts in the past for major fights like this, so it is not new that WBC is the kind of sanctioning body that innovates and adapts to the trend. You may call them nuts but with millions of people watching this event, it is but wise to add more flavor to it.

What do you think of the WBC Money Belt?

Clever thinking from WBC
It’s Stupid
A Belt is needed for this fight
no bearing for me
I really don’t mind
Not needed
It’s Awesome!

Paulie Malignaggi Furious After Photo Leak; Quits as McGregor Sparring Partner

Former 2-division world champion and now boxing commentator Paulie Malignaggi quits as Conor McGregor boxing sparring and partner and was furious after sparring session photos leak.

Connor McGregor sparring with Malignaggi leaked photo

Malignaggi made it clear that the cause of the knock down was a push.

“I wanted to be part of this event, but I didn’t want to become the story and that’s what this has turned into,” Malignaggi told ESPN. “I won’t release any information about his game plan or what he’s working on — I wouldn’t do that. But this has become a fiasco. It’s a circus. And I do want that sparring video released. The UFC’s PI definitely has that video. I understand it can’t come out now, but Conor, if you have any balls, release what really happened.”

“There was a pushdown yesterday. Conor on the inside, he can get a little rough. He shoved me down, you know, but no knockdowns. Obviously, 12 rounds, you’re gonna see there’s a mark on my face. Very, very hard work for both of us. I was starting to get in a groove in the middle rounds, starting to land some good shots. Conor really came on strong in the end. It was back and forth.”

UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor hired Malignaggi last month as a sparring partner ahead of his fight with boxing superstar Conor McGregor on August 26th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Nevada.

Paulie Malignaggi Reacts to McGregor was KOd in Sparring: That was all B.S.

Former 2-division world champion and now boxing commentator Paulie Malignaggi reacts to rumors that Connor McGregor was KO’d in a boxing sparring.
“That was all B.S. stuff. I think when these reports first came out, he was just returning from a press tour in Europe. The person who was saying that, Jessie Vargas, that he saw Conor get knocked out. That was physically impossible. Conor arrived in Las Vegas that Saturday, it was 2-3 weeks ago. Saturday he arrived and that Sunday the interview with Jessie Vargas came out. He said Conor got knocked out, which is physically impossible unless Conor was flying 14 hours and then sparring the same day,” Malignaggi told The Rich Eisen Show.
Also, another thing is, we train at the UFC headquarters and its very private so nobody can come in. You are not going to get anybody out there who doesn’t belong in the gym.”
Connor McGregor hired Paulie Malignaggi as his sparring partner ahead of his clash with Floyd Mayweather on August 26th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Nevada.

NSAC Will Not Break The Rules for the Mayweather-McGregor Fight

Earlier, Floyd Mayweather Jr. stated that his opponent Conor McGregor can wear an 8 oz boxing gloves of his choice.
“Don’t believe what you hear in the media. Don’t believe what you hear on blog sites. If it’s not coming directly from me, then it’s not true. I’m telling McGregor, ‘Let’s fight in 8 oz gloves.’ McGregor can fight in any brand he prefers or chooses. I’ll be wearing 8 oz Grant gloves. Whatever advantage McGregor needs to feel more comfortable in the ring, I’m willing to accommodate. Let’s give the boxing and MMA fans what they want to see,” Mayweather stated.
But the the Nevada Athletic Commission will not break the rules for the fight.
“These regulations are in place for the health and safety of the athletes, which is of the utmost importance to the commission,” Bennett told ESPN. “Our regulations already outline the appropriate glove size according to contracted weight of a fight.”
Boxers above Welterweight limit use 10-ounce gloves. Mayweather and McGregor is set to fight at super welterweight/ junior Middleweight limit of 154 pounds. Mcgregor is used to fighting in 4 OZ gloves when fighting inside the octagon.

Carl Froch Warned Mayweather not to Underestimate McGregor

Former world champion Carl Froch now working as boxing analyst and commentator for Sky Sports warned Floyd Mayweather Jr. not to underestimate Conor McGregor on their upcoming fight on August 26th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Nevada.
“Anybody who knows anything about boxing doesn’t give Conor McGregor a chance,” Froch told Sky Sports News.
“I thoroughly expect Floyd Mayweather to win, but he’d better not let the world of boxing down. I hope he wins it for boxing but this is an amazing event and I can’t wait for it. McGregor’s got to land something, a punch, quite hard and hurtful early on to be within any chance but anyone who knows boxing isn’t giving him a chance. This is a Mission: Impossible.”
“McGregor is 29 against a guy who is 40 – a little bit older than me – and he’s been retired for a couple of years. You really do ‘feel’ you’re retired, you become civilised and soft and you lose that fighting mentality. Floyd has brittle hands, so how is the training camp going to go? I am just looking for some positives for Conor here and Mayweather isn’t the Mayweather we know from two, three, four, five years ago when he was the best of the best. We are just going to have to wait and see.”

Mayweather Allows Conor McGregor To Wear 8-Ounce Gloves

Boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr allows UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor to wear an 8-Ounce Gloves. He also allows McGregor to wear a glove brand of his choice.

I’m telling McGregor, ‘Let’s fight in 8 oz gloves.’ McGregor can fight in any brand he prefers or chooses. I’ll be wearing 8 oz Grant gloves. Mayweather vs. McGregor Predictions & Fighting Style Comparisons

Mayweather vs. McGregor Predictions & Fighting Style Comparisons
Mayweather retired after beating Andre Berto in September 12, 2015 but being inactive for almost two years should not be a concern for a boxer of his caliber, as he’s been effective coming off layoffs before. Mayweather’s inactivity is not a bigger problem than McGregor having no experience inside a boxing ring.
Boxing and MMA revolve around people punching each other in the face but the differences between these sports are numerous and significant.
MMA incorporates a wide array of martial arts and arm and hand strikes. The fighters can also use boxing, Muay Thai or kickboxing skills, modified for MMA and the fights can last 3 or 5, 5-minute rounds. MMA fighters can win via knockout, technical knockout, points or using submissions. MMA also involves leg kicks, takedowns, ground control and submissions. Any kind of punches, elbows, knee strikes and kicks are allowed in MMA and you can grab the opponent, throw him on the floor and strike him on the ground. Holds, joint locks and chokes are also allowed.
Boxing on the other hand uses a variety of punches in order to knock out your opponent or win on points (punching below the waist, punching a downed opponent, grabbing the opponent to throw him on the floor and backfisting or slapping are not allowed). Boxing rounds last approximately 3 minutes and there can be anywhere from 6 to 12 rounds in a fight. A boxing fight can finish earlier if someone is knocked out. If not, it can keep on going until the 12th round. In that case, the boxer with the highest score in points wins.
Another difference between MMA and boxing is that the gloves in MMA are much lighter (0.1 kg) and more flexible and they have exposed fingers to help fighters get takedowns and submissions. Boxing gloves are much heavier, they weigh between 0.3 and 0.5 kg and they’re cushioned to give protection while punching.
The Mayweather vs. McGregor fight will happen under boxing rules, so Mayweather has a significant advantage over McGregor. Mayweather is a boxer, he doesn’t have to learn anything from scratch but it will be interesting to see if McGregor can live up to the challenge. To me, this is the best time for him to challenge Mayweather. McGregor’s left-hand can be seen as an equalizer against the 40-year-old Mayweather, who hasn’t fought against many fighters with a great left, but there’s a reason why Mayweather is 49-0, so don’t think he doesn’t know about McGregor’s viable weapon against him and how to answer against it.
Still, don’t underestimate McGregor, he’s a two-division champion in the UFC, which means he’s highly-capable and he’s easily the UFC fighter around Mayweather’s weight with the best chance to beat him. That said, aside from the difference in boxing skills, Mayweather is dependable and he never gets tired. People focus on his speed and skills and he might trash-talk a lot, but he’s as tough as they come.
Stamina will be the difference in this fight. In past UFC fights, McGregor’s effectiveness has decreased when he doesn’t knock out his opponent after the first round or two. That’s been an issue for him in his own sport, so it’s hard to see him having enough gas in a boxing ring, against one of the best of all-time.
A reputable sportsbook like BetOnline will offer odds for the fight, review them I’m betting on Mayweather here. McGregor can catch him cold but Mayweather has proven to be able to absorb punches, so it’s hard to see McGregor surprising him, especially because it would have to happen in the first rounds because of his lack of stamina.
