OKC Redefines "Triple-Double” Performance

Left to Right (Paul George, Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony)

Triple Double even more terrifying

With Russell Westbrook working with two other big stars in the league, his triple double performance would not be as frequent anymore. But in contrast to that, Westbrook found a way for the new “Triple-Double” explosion of OKC.
Instead of only him scoring double digits, dishing out more than 10 assists and securing boards above 10. OKC’s triple double is in new form. There are now three (triple) players who will finish games in double digits (double) which is very much more efficient for the team to secure victory in every single match.
OKC bounced back hard from their shameful lost against Melbourne United. The triple threat: Westbrook, Anthony and George: scored 20, 16, and 19 respectively against Denver Nuggets to redeem themselves and bury the bitter memory of having a very disappointing ballgame at home with Melbourne.
Paul George even managed to have a double-double own performance, with 19 points and 11 rebounds against Nuggets.
The Thunders bagged their 3rd victory, defeated the Denver Nuggets 96-86.
However, setting aside the astonishing performance of the three, OKC still has a lot of loopholes to work on.
Yes, they are productive enough to snatch another victory, but how efficient were they? Behind productivity lies efficiency. Thunders missed a lot of their shots (39-91).
They also had a lot of turn overs (22). They somewhat won by luck for the Nuggets failed to convert their turnovers and empty possessions to counterpoints.

Lakers Came up Short Against the Nuggets

Nuggets took the win today against the Lakers. The Nurkic-Jokic duo was pretty good, but Jamaal Murray did all the work for the Nuggets to win.

Coach Luke Walton gave the third unit some playing time in the last six minutes of the fourth quarter. Despite the loss, Lakers are looking good so far..

The Lakers played back at Staples Center for the first time this season. The last time the Lakers were in their home arena was when Kobe Bryant played his final game, scoring 60 points and leading Los Angeles to a comeback victory.

Coach Luke gets to play his former team on Saturday, October 15 as the LA Lakers take on the 2015 Champion Golden State Warriors at T-Mobile Areana. The game starts at 7:00 pm.

Oh Do i need to remind you who Jaylen Brown is? 23 Pts against Washington!

This dunk may look easy based on the picture but watch the replay here. He was like a bigger version of Jimmy Butler.

The Cal Bears are clicking just in the nick of time before March Madness start Jaylen Brown is starting to grow in our eyes, he is becoming the leader that they want him to be. The fact that Brown has his fellow freshman phenom in Ivan Rabb, he doesn’t take a step behind him and often times he would lead them to win. Jaylen Brown Scored 23 points to steal a win on the road and keep their March Madness hopes alive.

Cal bears is undefeated at home with a win over #12 seed Arizona and an absolute dominance over USC, its all thanks to Brown who has average 15 ppg and has scored 20 or more on crucial games that gave them a chance to finish as the #4 seed come championship week.

Jordan Clarkson is the Future of Lakers! Scored 30 pts vs Nuggets on 11/3/2015!

Jordan Clarkson

Jordan Clarkson was red hot from the beginning of this game and ending the game with a 12-19, Lou Williams with 24 to lead Lakers who lost yesterday to Denver with a score of 120-109.

Faried led Denver with 28 markers and 15 rebounds. Clarkson on the other hand kept pushing LA to get back into the game until the last minute, Lakers was leading in the first 3 quarters of the game but Denver responded with a roar and the Lakeshow’s fire power wasn’t enough to get the W.

Clarkson just need to be consistent to carry the offensive load for his team while also playing decent to good defense on the other end.

My Young T-Wolves off to a 2-0 start! Towns with 28 pts 14 rebs 4 BLOCKS! (2 videos inside)

KAT – Karl Anthony Towns

Photo Taken after their opening win!

Yes My ever beloved Twolves is off to a 2-0 start but don’t get me wrong, I am not saying they will automatically make the playoffs this year but this is a great start never the less dedicating every game to Flip Saunders who passed away last October 25, 2015 due to cancer.

TOWNS – TOWNS – TOWNS!! the future is looking like the next great big next to Davis, Cousins, Okafor etc. He helped the Wolves beat Denver by the score of 95-78. Towns led all scorers followed by my boy Andrew Wiggins with 18 and Kevin Martin’s 14 pts with Rubio contributing 12 pts and 8 assists. This young core with good veteran support could make noise very soon barring any injuries. I am really hoping that my Twolves  would at least get to .500 this season.

Emmanuel MUDIAY Who? Debut game 17pts 9 assists! My darkhorse as ROY!

Emmanuel Mudiay

A NEW ERA BEGINS INDEED! Mudiay scored 17 pts and dished out 9 assists to help the Nuggets beat Houston Rockets in the opening game. Mudiay showed he can play in and also shoot from long range, Mudiay showed a few step back jumpers and sweet lefty lay up against the defense of Ariza.

Mudiay had 11 turn overs its a given because he is still trying to feel his team mates but despite that he made a good impression by showing he is ready for this League. Denver beat Houston 105-85

Clippers beat Nuggets 103-96 in preseason opener

DeAndre Jordan had 15 points and 12 rebounds to help the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 103-96 on Friday night in the first game of the NBA preseason.

Jordan scored 12 points in the first half on 5-for-6 shooting, including three dunks.

The Clippers spoiled Nuggets coach Michael Malone’s debut.

Nuggets: Joffrey Lauvergne scored 16 points on 7-for-10 shooting and had 11 rebounds in a reserve role. Rookie Emmanuel Mudiay missed eight of his first 11 shots and finished with 14 points.

Clippers: Josh Smith had 13 points and eight rebounds, Chris Paul added 12 points, nine assists and five rebounds in 23 minutes, and newcomer Paul Pierce started and scored five points in 15 minutes.

Up next: The Clippers will play Toronto in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sunday. Denver is at Dallas on Tuesday night.

Blazers reach buy out with Miller; Nuggest interested with Miller

Portland Trail Blazers forward Mike Miller has finalized a contract buyout to enter free agency.

Once Miller clears waivers, the Denver Nuggets are among the teams with an interest in signing Miller. Denver pursued Miller aggressively in free agency a year ago, before Miller signed a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Denver has 14 guaranteed contracts as it begins training camp this week.

The Blazers acquired Miller in the Brendan Haywood trade in July, receiving two future second-round picks from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Lithuania defeated Italy in OT in their EuroBasket 2015 Quarterfinals

Toronto Raptors Center Jonas Valanciunas led Lithuania to an overtime win over Italy 95-85 in EuroBasket 2015 Quarterfinals.
Valanciunas scored 26 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to secure the final spot in the EuroBasket semifinals, joining France, Spain and Serbia in the final four. While, Denver Nuggets star Danilo Gallinari led Italy with 17 points and 6 rebounds.

Here are the complete scores for EuroBasket 2015 Quarter-Finals:

Nikola Jokic will play for Denver Nuggets this coming season!

Nikola Jokic

Who? that’s probably your first question. Nikola Jokic was the 41st pick last year for the Denver Nuggets. Well if you were surprised by how good Nikola Mirotic is, I wont be surprised if Jokic would also give the same impact sooner or later. I know dude isn’t that flashy but his basketball IQ is amazing, he didn’t play for any of the teams in Euroleague pretty much just their Serbian League. He was the MVP  Adriatic League MVP of the Regular Season. He averaged 15.4 points, league-leading 9.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, while leading the league with the index rating of 22 He plays pretty much could be a 4 or 5. If i would pattern his game it might be after Timofey Mozgov but he could be better because this dude is just 20 years old.

He is 6’11” with a wingspan of 7’3″ and a standing reach of 9’3″.  With his arrival he might secure the Center post because there are rumors that Javale Mcgee might not stay with the Nuggets.
(this is another possible article that I would discuss the next couple of days)
