The Team Powcast thanks Phoenix Suns guard Brandon Knight, former Boston Celtics Decovan “Dee” Brown and Coach Craig Brown for training some filipino athletes, coaches, the Special Olympic Philippines children and fans last July 19, 20, and 21.
Last July 19 (Tuesday), Brandon Knight, Dee Brown and Craig Brown headed to Gatorade Hoops Center at Mandaluyong for NBA Fit. There, they train young filipino basketball players from highschool and colleges and mentoring coaches.
Last Thursday, July 21, they moved to Trinoma Activity Center at Quezon City for NBA Care to train children from Special Olympic Philippines.
Happened today, July 19, at the Gatorade Hoops Center, Mandaluyong City.
Coach Dee Brown shared comprehensive training and coaching tips with professional and collegiate athletes and coaches.
Brown played for Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Orlando Magic. The 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Champion is now an assitant coach of the Sacramento Kings.
Coach Dee led the basketball clinics both for coaches and student-athletes that would help them advance to the next step.
