Wiggins went down after their win against the Hawks and was sideline for a game. That gave confidence to Zach Lavine since then Lavine has been averaging 20ppg the last 4 games. Wiggins on the other hand has averaged 26ppg the last 5 games.
They just need more consistency from the rest of the squad so they can pull up more wins and all I am asking for is for this young team to make it atleast 45% winning margin.
It maybe too much to ask but I would be more than happy if they achieve that or maybe even bump it to a .500 end of the year. They will have options next year and I know for a fact that they would be playing motivated for Flip Saunders and the city of Minnesota.
Andrew Wiggins made a name for himself after winning the MVP from
BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge
And also won Rookie of the year, before the season ended Wiggins said that he wants to make the All star this year in Canada and with his back to back 30 ppg he is making noise in making people realize that he isnt joking around. The Wolves are 4-0 in the road with this latest win from Atlanta. they also beat Chicago , Denver and Lakers.
However sadness Wiggins is sidelined with a sore knee today.
Yes My ever beloved Twolves is off to a 2-0 start but don’t get me wrong, I am not saying they will automatically make the playoffs this year but this is a great start never the less dedicating every game to Flip Saunders who passed away last October 25, 2015 due to cancer.
TOWNS – TOWNS – TOWNS!! the future is looking like the next great big next to Davis, Cousins, Okafor etc. He helped the Wolves beat Denver by the score of 95-78. Towns led all scorers followed by my boy Andrew Wiggins with 18 and Kevin Martin’s 14 pts with Rubio contributing 12 pts and 8 assists. This young core with good veteran support could make noise very soon barring any injuries. I am really hoping that my Twolves would at least get to .500 this season.

On August 11, 2015, it was announced that Saunders was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, for which he was undergoing treatment; Saunders planned to remain the Timberwolves’ head coach and president. However, after being hospitalized following complications in September, team owner Glen Taylor announced that Saunders would miss the next season.Saunders died on October 25, 2015 at the age of 60. Here is a video created by fox sports to remember Flip Saunders:
Flip Saunders has been hospitalized for testing and treatment following a setback in his fight with cancer, leaving his leadership roles with the Minnesota Timberwolves indefinitely to focus on his health.
The Timberwolves confirmed Friday that assistant Sam Mitchell will take over as interim coach for Saunders, who is also the president of basketball operations. General manager Milt Newton’s responsibilities also will expand with the absence of the 60-year-old Saunders, who was diagnosed this summer with Hodgkin lymphoma.
Saunders was diagnosed with the cancer of the immune system in June. He announced his condition in August, when he said his doctors called his prognosis “very treatable and curable.” Saunders, who is also part owner of the franchise, hoped then to be ready to resume his responsibilities when training camp cranked up.
Training camp starts Sept. 28. The season opener is Oct. 28.
