UFC 201: Robbie Lawler vs. Tyron Woodley

It will take place on July 30, 2016 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

A Welterweight Championship bout between the current champion Robbie Lawler and No. 4 Tyron Woodley will headline the event.

Fight fans prior to this card were hoping for the Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit rematch. Condit won their fight at UFC 195 in the worlds’ eyes. The Natural Born Killer vs. Damian Maia was then set for UFC 202.

In the co-main event, the no. 3 strawweight Rose Namajunas will face the Polish fighter Karolina Kowalkiewicz who is on her third fight in the UFC.

Matt Brown is returning from his loss against Damian Maia at UFC 198: Werdum vs. Miocic. The Immortal will battle with Jake Ellenberger.

Demetrious ‘The Mighty Mouse’ Johnson is supposed to make the card more exciting to watch. On July 8, however, DJ pulled out due to an injury. His fight with the No. 7 flyweight Wilson Reis was postponed. Hector Sandoval is the new opponent.
