Ball is not the only life for Engr. Jett Manuel. Yes, you heard it right. Manuel is a licensed civil engineer having passed the May 2017 board exam for civil engineers.
The former UP Fighting Maroon is a certified engineer-athlete!
In comparing to a PBA veteran, Manuel is more of a right-handed version of Rain or Phoenix Fuel Masters’ Jeff Chan playing both shooting guard and small forward positions. He is working on shifting to a point guard position.
Standing 6 foot 2, the 24-year-old cager last played for Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas in the 2017 Fiba Asia Champions Cup in Chenzhou, China, where he averaged 6.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 18.8 minutes of play.
He averaged 15.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in his senior year in UAAP Season 79.
