The start of game 2 was probably nerve-wracking for SMB as they see themselves trail right off the bat scoring only 24 points against 32 points of Talk n Text.

After falling to the Tropang Texters in game one, a large lead ending the first quarter wasn’t the start that the Beermen is looking for if they wanted to equalize the series.

Good thing the Beermen quickly woke up from the funk and did not look back behind after the second quarter run courtesy of the efforts of the locals led by JunMar Fajardo who scored 22 points and also grabbed 11 rebounds. Chriss Ross was also terrific with 20 points and was awarded player of the game honor.

SMB parted ways with AZ Reid, Singletary steps in but SMB blown away by tropang TNT 105-85!

SMB parted ways with AZ Reid, Singletary steps in but SMB blown away by tropang TNT 105-85!

We know for a fact that Michael Singletary was a good scoring import for ROS and he proved to be efficient against Meralco bolts last Aug 31, 2016 where in he scored 21 points and grabbed 20 rebounds but this game he only scored 18 pts and 7 rebounds in a game where they would have secured the top spot. Is Singletary  really what San Miguel needs or was tropang texters really that good? Did SMB played their cards right against Reid?

Hotshots, Tropang Texters Interested to Bradwyn Guinto

The Star Hotshots and Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters are reportedly interested to Mahindra Enforcer Center Bradwyn Guinto. The big man out of San Sebastian is averaging 6 points and 5.36 rebounds in his first two conferences in the PBA.

The Hotshots are looking for a bigman  after they traded Yoused Taha to GlobalPort Batang Pier and Norbert Torres to Phoenix Fuel Masters while the Tropang Texters are looking to trade 2015 1st overall pick Moala Tautuaa for a legit center. Texters were reportedly offered Tautuaa and another player to the Mahindra Enforcers for Bradwyn Guinto and Enforcers 2016 first round pick. The Hotshots also tried to acquire Guinto but the management of the Mahindra Enforcers turned down the offer. They will try to acquire Jay-R Reyes from San Miguel Beermen if Guinto trade didn’t go through.

Kris Rosales signs with TNT

Tropang Texters failed to defend their title last conference. They finished 6th in standing last conference and had been eliminated by Alaska in the quarterfinals.

They really need a change and an additional help in the point guard will be a big help.
According to media reports, TNT have reached out and signed Kris Rosales. He last played in ABL with Singapore Slingers and helped them to reached the finals for the first time in league’s history.
Actually, Rosales had been picked before by Barako Bull in the second round of 2015 Draft. While playing in ABL, he averaged a decent 10 PPG, 3.15APG and 1.35 SPG.
How he can help Talk N Text Tropang Texters? He can be a reliever for Jayson Castro. He can score from inside and outside. A good perimeter shooter, a good passer and an underrated defender. He can definitely help them if he will play in consistent level. The only concern is if he can play in PBA’s Physicality.
We just need wait and see if he can deliver the goods for TNT. But definitely, TNT will be solid next conference,

Moala Tautuaa on Trading Block

Moala Tautuaa, the first overall pick of the 2015 PBA Draft, are reportedly on the trading block. According to reports, the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters are looking for a revamp especially on their center spot.
Tautuaa is averaging 7.86 points and 3.36 rebounds in his first two conference which is considered an underperformance for a top overall pick while his pal Troy Rosario, the 2015 second overall pick is performing well so far and is fthe avorite to win the Rookie of the Year award. The insiders are also cited that Tautuaa isn’t playing like a true center. The MVP owned team are looking for a legit bigman who could they match up with San Miguel’s June Mar Fajardo and Ginebra’s Japeth Aguilar and Greg Slaughter.
Tautuaa has been offered by the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters to the Mahindra Enforcers and another player for Bradwyn Guinto and the Enforcer’s 2016 first round pick but negotiations didn’t go through. Kiefer Ravena will join this year’s draft and the Talk ‘N Text are finding a way to get the services of the high scoring Ateneo guard which is why they are trying to get a top first round pick.
