Albert "The Prince" Pagara Shines in US debut in amazing fashion, KO’s Gonzalez in round 6! (FULL FIGHT INSIDE)

The Prince – Pagara

I believe that with the right training, conditioning and discipline this guy is the next deal! Pagara has been tested in this fight and i know that he has a lot to work on to be the the next dominant champion .

Round 1 – Both fighters were trying to test the waters first and trying to feel each other first, Pagara fought wisely as Gonzalez tried to engage early, It was a bit lack luster in round 1, Pagara 10-9.

Round 2 – Pagara showed the eagerness to win the fight early, he smiled at times as well, bought fighters trying to exchange blows but at within 2 minutes left Pagara connected a beautiful left counter punch to the jaw but Gonzalez kept pressing forward and tried to taunt Pagara to bring it on, Pagara was calm enough to just keep boxing and even with the ref threatening Pagara at times to fight clean (although I don’t think he was hitting way below), Pagara delivered a knockdown within 20 seconds remaining in round 2, however it was waived because Pagara delivered a punch with Gonzalez down on his knees, The referee stepped in and warned to disqualify Pagara if he would do that again. The knockdown has been waived because of the illegal punch. Pagara 10-9 could have been a 1-8 easily.

Round 3 – Gonzalez started the round as if he was looking for a knockout pressing Pagara at times but that didnt really matter at all as Pagara counter punched his way into round 4. Pagara 10-9

Round 4: Gonzalez kept pressing forward and got Pagara on the ropes a number of times but often his punches didnt really bother Pagara, Pagara showed that he can take a punch at the same time box wisely, I am really impressed how he handled the pressure that is given to him by Gonzalez, Pagara still dictated the fight and delivered the more telling blows. Pagara 10-9.

Round 5: The situation didn’t really change but at this point the punches thrown by Gonzalez is telegraph well by Pagara. In the last 2 mins of the fight Pagara connected a 1-2 combination that staggered Gonzalez but Pagara was being cautious knowing that his opponent is a power puncher. Pagara won the round 10-9

Round 6: Gonzalez really wanted to KO Pagara and delivered a series of combination trying to head hunt Pagara. Pagara was cornered on the ropes as Gonzalez tried to unleash punches but Pagara was able to get out of it by pushing Gonzalez away and within the last min Pagara connected a 1-2 combination that floored Gonzalez to the ground and didnt get up as the referee counted him out.

With the win Pagara improved to 25 wins 18 KO’s no defeats.

PACMAN FAN! Flanagan stopped Magdaleno! ROUND 2 TKO! Retains his WBO Lightweight Title!

Terry “TURBO” Flanagan

Flanagan made quick work on this one and Magdaleno looked awkward. Flanagan delivered 3 knockdowns before the referee stepped in to stop the fight. The first knock down was a counter right hook to the face and looked like it was just a stinger. Magdaleno stood up but the beautiful left upper cut and a right hook with a flurry of punches sent the challenger Magdaleno to the canvas again. The Third knockdown looked like Magdaleno is just fighting out of instinct but Flanagan didn’t gave him any room as the referee stopped the bout at the 2:38 mins of round 2.

With the win Flanagan improved to 29 wins 12 KO no defeats. Magdaleno suffered his first stoppage, its quite weird because the stance of Magdaleno is too wide he actually slipped twice before the combination

Shane Mosley vs Ricardo Mayorga press-con alteration

Shane Mosley vs Ricardo Mayorga press-con scuffle

Classic Mayorga is at it again, annoying his opponent with his signature move, smoking during the face-off  strategy. It did it’s purpose as the two almost get at it right away.  Mayorga and Mosley will see each other again inside the ring on August 29, 2015 in a rematch at the Staple Center in Los Angeles.

On their first fight, Shane Mosley stopped Ricardo Mayorga with one second left in the 12th round of their light-middleweight bout, Mosley led by one point on judge Nelson Vasquez’s scorecard and five on Tony Crebs’ entering the 12th round. Jorge Kahwagi slow motion punches knockout opponent, for real?!

Jorge Kahwagi surgically improved muscle knocked out opponent!

Another embarrassing boxing match and it happened in the Philippines. ALA promotion is well known in the world as a Philippine boxing promotion that showcase Pinoy pride and real boxing events, but this match up under the said promotion proves that money can get you anything.
Jorge Kahwagi is an undefeated boxer from Mexico, yes he is undefeated, he is also a politician who may be thinking of running for office soon, and what better ways to get his name out there than to fix a boxing match.

Check out the boxing replay below and you will see what we mean.

Video: Pacquiao distracted training? worried about his conditioning

If you train hard the fight is easy! Do you remember this phrase? Pacquiao mentioned this when he was preparing for a fight with Ricky Hatton, If my memory serves me correctly, he won that fight via KO in the 2nd round. Today he is gearing up for another critical fight, one that could propel him back on top or end his career in boxing.
In less than two months Pacquiao will be back in the ring against a young and hungry fighter by the name of Brandon Rios, he is currently training right now with two time trainer of the year, Robert Garcia and his former conditioning coach Alex Ariza. The Rios camp obviously have longer preparation than Pacquiao, and Rios is looking good. What about Pacquiao?
He is definitely training, while attending events, while doing his job as a congressman, while managing his business, while doing this..while doing that…. there are a lot of things on his plate and while we know that he can multi-task, it is always better if he can focus on one thing at a time. I am worried about his training and conditioning, Freddie Roach is not in the Philippines yet, he lost his conditioning coach and he is not getting a good sparring partner, or is he getting one at all? Who is watching if his eating well, who is taking care of his legs, who is making sure that he follow strict training schedule, everyone seems to be under him and no one maybe man enough to tell Pacquiao to do this and that, and this type of news really worries me or maybe I am just wrong, I really hope everything is well.

Chavez jr vs Vera: The useless weigh in

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is undoubtedly one of the most popular boxers in Mexico, his dad is a legend in the sports and Chavez Jr is looking to make a name for himself, yes he is! But you gotta follow his rule, why his rule? Because Chavez Jr. said so.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr had some bad publicity recently with Freddie Roach leaving him, his rumored drug issue and stories about his lack of intensity in practice. Do you believe those? Look at his figure, he is totally in shape for this fight, let’s look at the weigh in result. BRYAN VERA 171.2 vs JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ, JR 172.4, okay see what i’m saying! oh wait a minute isn’t this fight supposed to be at 163, or was it 168, what happened?
Training happened, Julio Cesar Chavez will prove it on fight night. This fight will push through. Yes it will, because Chavez Jr and Top Rank said so, and Bryan Vera obviously need this fight.  Let’s watch the useless weigh in video, I am not sure why I even posted it.

Darchinyan to Donaire: I made you, ill break you!

Nonito Donaire will be fighting Vic Darchinyan again, while most think that this is a tune up fight , I say it’s actually a hard and important fight, it will be essential in Nonito proving a point. We have got to remember that Nonito Donaire lost to his last fight and needs this to get back on track. Vic Darchinyan is not an easy opponent, this fighter will certainly bring it on and will unleash fury against Donaire. In fact he already is,  he mentioned that he made Donaire and he will break him.

As expected, Vic Darchinyan will try to intimidate and trash talk Donaire, but that’s all he can do because Nonito Donaire looks hungry again, this would be another KO win for Donaire.

Check out the interview of the two fighters as they assess their fight on November 9.

Bradley vs. Marquez: Fighters Face Off video

If you think this would be a competitive fight then your totally mistaken, hahaha, I guess I am one of the Bradley doubters. I think that Bradley is a good boxer but against Juan Manuel Marquez, you have got to be kidding! Both of these man fought Manny Pacquiao and defeated him, at least on papers Timothy Bradley won, but even Bradley knows that he was just lucky that night, one of the judges was blind.
Okay enough of bashing Little Timmy, and let’s watch Bradley and Marquez meet face-to-face video with Max Kellerman.

We had an agreement that he will retire – Roach

Boxing for Manny Pacquiao has been a blessing, in the past it has provided him with everything that he needs and wants, today the boxing world still wants him, and there are still a lot of money to make, most especially with the new marketing strategy of Bob Arum, if he can continue to fight, he could earn a lot more fighting in countries like China, Dubai, Singapore and others, these country are willing to pay the money to see him fight for about the same amount of what he is getting in the United States. All is still great for Manny Pacquiao.
While Boxing have its arms wide open for Pacquiao, the real question would be is if Pacquiao still honestly want to box and if his body will cooperate. November he is scheduled to fight a young and hungry fighter in Brandon Rios and while most people still think that he still have what it takes to beat Rios, coach Freddie Roach has a warning for all of us.
Freddie Roach mentioned that if he see a decline and if he thinks that Pacquiao can not fight anymore he will ask him to retire in boxing, who better to analyse and advice Manny Pacquiao than his old time trainer, Freddie still believe that Manny will be faster, stronger and wiser in the ring and it would be enough to prevail on this fight, hopefully he is right. Check out the whole interview from Fighthub.

Do you think Manny Paquiao still got it?

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield laugh about the ear bite

Do you remember when Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield ear? oh come on you got to remember that fight!, okay for those who need to remember, here is a short video of Mike Tyson ear biting moment against Evander Holyfield.
After watching the video, tell me how you feel? Most would feel angry, some would feel upset and few are diffidently scared, Mike Tyson who is one of the greatest heavyweight of all time out of control and in desperation during this fight, you wonder what has gone thru his head.
Fast forward today, Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson meet again and it looks like the past is way behind them as they talk and share a good laugh on one of boxing most bizarre incident.

Marquez taking shots at Pacquiao and fans

Many of us was in shock when Juan Manuel Marquez knockout Manny Pacquiao, most of us immediately  want to see a rematch, majority of the boxing expert predicted that there will be a rematch, Bob Arum thinks that if both Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao win with their matches, he will make it happen, Pacquiao definitely want to avenge his lost, but   what do Marquez think about this all?
Marquez is not inclined to fighting Manny Pacquiao again, he mentioned that it is not about the money but its about pride and honor. that means keep on chasing but he is not going to get another fight with me.
here is a report from Koncrete Jungle

Do you think there would be another Marquez vs Pacquiao fight

How to beat Floyd jr by Nacho Beristain

Pretty boy Floyd Mayweather jr, has been on the top of boxing world for awhile and while most Pinoy thinks that Manny can beat him, Nacho Beristain the trainor of Juan Manuel Marquez thinks of only one way to beat Floyd. None of the 44 fights of Floyd was able to beat him including Juan Manuel Marquez but next time if a Nacho Beristain fighter will fight Floyd we know what they will bring.
