The little known Thai fighter burst to the scene of boxing when he upset Roman Gonzales, the consensus number one pound for pound boxer with a majority decision win in front of thousands of boxing crowd at the Madison Square Garden.  Many were not expecting him to win and even put down the undefeated fighter but Srisaket shocked the boxing world by achieving what 46 other fighters have failed to do.
Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez lost his WBC World Super Flyweight title and an immediate rematch was set within the same year and Gonzales was primed for a revenge but destiny has something else planned.
Srisaket brutally knocked out Chocolatito in four rounds in their rematch that further sent a shockwave to the boxing universe and confirmed the end of Gonzales as the #1 P4P boxer that he was.
The fight was considered an upset and the knockout is certainly the best of the year considering the magnitude of the win.

Last weekend, we witnessed another shift in boxing as long time pound for pound Roman Gonzales was knocked out cold by Runvisai after getting hit with an epic right hook straight to the jaw that put him to the canvas for good.
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai is the only boxer to ever beat Roman Gonzales professionally.

The End of Roman Empire as Thai Fighter proved he is the better man by defeating Chocolatito impressively in a rematch.

Wisaksil Wangek also known as Srisaket Sor Rungvisai has changed the course of history during his first meeting with Roman Gonzales who was then undefeated and was considered the best and a pound for pound fighter.
It was March 18, 2017 when they first met and the two warriors exchanged in an unexpected brawl that resulted in the first ever loss of Roman Gonzales. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai had a great record coming into the fight but was unknown and has never fought a foe with the caliber of Roman Gonzales.  He shocked the world by defeating the formerly undefeated fighter via majority decision.
Fast forward today, the two met again in one of the most anticipated rubber matches in boxing history as both sides wanted to prove that they are the better boxer.
The fight started as if it never ended with two boxers exchanging blows. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, however looks more aggressive, but Gonzales was more relaxed and both exchanged heavy blows. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai was getting the upper hand and one punch could drastically change the game as punches that are being thrown by both fighters can easily put someone down if it landed to the right spot.
In the fourth round, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai did find that spot and was able to put down Roman Gonzales for good as he won for the second time against the former pound for pound boxer.
Roman Gonzales now have 2 losses under his belt and both coming from the same conqueror.
