MILWAUKEE BUCKS Put an END to Golden State’s Run! 108-95!

Yes. Ladies and gentlemen you are not mistaken. The struggling Bucks found a way for the entire league to feel the force as they beat a team that has been invisible from the start of the season. The Bucks led from the start but got beaten on the 3rd quarter but came bouncing back to seal the victory making them the team to beat the rampage of the Warriors.

It was a collective effort but we can give the credit to Giannis Antetokounmpo. He gave them his first triple double. 11 pts, 12 rebs, and 10 assist might as well add in 2 blocks and a nightmare to Klay Thompson who only scored 12 points with a 4-14 shooting from the field.

Monroe also displayed how to exhaust the small line up of the Warriors. He is too big for Draymond Green. Monroe scored 28 pts, collected 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Curry led the Warriors with 28pts, 7 rebs and 5 assists. The Warriors looked conquerable even before this game as they hardly escaped against the Celtics the other night.

Will this win give boost to the Bucks? It should. We will see because right now they are 10-15. A poor start compared to last season.

Will this loss be the light for other teams to pick apart the weakness of the Dubs?

We are almost halfway there and we will all witness what is about to happen to both teams. So stay tuned @ powcast.net for your favorite basketball and other sports articles.

Wiggins loves the competition against Parker’s Team – 24pts 6 reb (Highlight’s inside)

Wiggins Vs Parker

It has been mentioned many times that these two could be the future of the NBA, not only that it could also be a rivalry ala Kevin Durant / Lebron James. I know it may or may not happen that they could equate the greatness of the players mentioned above.

Wiggins has always played to his best whenever he has gone up against Parker since highschool days and even in college, it is such a shame that Parker got injured last year so the contest for Rookie of the year has been easy for Wiggins. Rest assured that these 2 young superstars will go ham on each other if given a chance. But you know i will always be rooting for my boy Wiggins!

Wiggins anchored his team to victory against the bucks in the last game of the pre-season for both teams.
The wolves win vs the bucks (112 – 108) . Wiggy scored a team high 24 pts with 6 rebs, 2 assists and a block. Wiggins will play a lot of 2 or 3 depending on situations but expect that he would do better than his first season.

* Jabari Parker did not play in this game due to injury, he is getting ready for the start of the season and may start playing November 2015.

Bucks Jabari Parker expected for camp, but Bucks remaining cautious

The second overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft Jabari Parker is expected on the court when Milwaukee Bucks camp opens on Sept. 29 in Madison.

As always, the team is proceeding cautiously with the franchise cornerstone player returning from a left knee injury. It’s unclear what Parker can do or how much contact he might face.

“If we think he can play 30 minutes, we’ll probably play him 15,” general manager John Hammond said. “Wherever he might be, we’re always going to be cautious with him.”

Parker was playing well before tearing his left ACL in December, ending his rookie season after 25 games. He was averaging 12.3 points and 5.5 rebounds a game.

Fear The DEER! The Bucks is on the rise again!

Milwaukee Bucks

I am no way putting them on top of Cleveland but one can argue that the East may not be that weak as compared to the past seasons. Bucks will be relevant for the next couple of years at least or maybe even more. They were able to acquire Greg Monroe from the Detroit Pistons and they were able to keep Khris Middleton, both were heavily recruited around the league. The Bucks was able to reach the playoffs even without their future superstar Jabari Parker, not only that they also lost Larry Sanders due to personal issues.

It is indeed amazing that the team of Kidd perform at a high level despite having challenges on the roster. They ended the year with 43-45 record. Now with the addition of Monroe, they were able to get a low post threat that can open up things for their shooters as well. He will also play with a good defensive player in John Henson and the Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo. I believe that they have the tallest starting 5 line up this coming season.

PG – Michael Carter-Williams – 6’6
SG – Khris Middleton – 6’7
SF – Jabari Parker – 6’8
SF – Giannis Antetokounmpo – 7’0
C – Greg Monroe 6’11

Their bench is strong as well, they were able to acquire Greivis Vasquez from Toronto that adds depth in their PG position aside from Bayless. Keep in mind they still have OJ Mayo, Tyler Ennis, Chris Copeland and John Henson. They are possibly ten deep with the roster they have. It can be compared to the Warriors but not the same players in every position of course.

It has been said that the Bucks were irrelevant but with Jason Kidd as the coach it is safe to say that NBA Players respect for Kidd is unmatched when it comes to his ability as a player and as a coach. I won’t be surprise if the Bucks will be the next year’s Hawks they can be that good and maybe even better if everything fall into place.

Here is the press conference of Greg Monroe and Khris Middleton:

Monroe is happy to be a part of this organization as per this interview:

“Bucks is the best fit fore me” – Monroe

Can’t wait for the next season? Keep it here and lets all enjoy the ride.
