JaVale McGee to Milwaukee: Who would win in this trade?

Trade rumors surrounding JaVale  is popping out anew.

The defending champions, the Golden State Warriors have finally overtaken the Houston Rockets atop the standings of the stacked Western Conference as they have won 9 of their last 10 games including their Christmas Day game against LeBron James and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Mind you, folks. They’ve been winning despite missing the services of 2-time MVP, Steph Curry who is currently nursing an injury. And given the fact that the Warriors have played amazingly over the past few weeks despite missing their stars, just imagine what the Warriors if they are in full strength.  Scary, isn’t it?
If you watched last season’s Finals series between these two teams, there were other factors that enabled the Warriors to finish the series in 5 games outside of Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Steph Curry. Among those factors is having a bench who can step up anytime Steve Kerr called them up. And among those players who played a critical role in the Warriors’ dominance against the Cavaliers is none other than JaVale McGee.
JaVale McGee has been known worldwide due to his funny antics on and off the court which produced a good number of memes online.
But more than that, he finally found a home with the Warriors and was a vital piece to the Warriors’ championship run. In fact, he averaged 23 points and  12 rebounds per game in 77 games while making 73% of his shots.
However, the emergence of Jordan Bell has left JaVale McGee scratching his head and he even didn’t play on Christmas Day. In fact, JaVale McGee hasn’t scored in double figures in a month and only played in 1 of the last 3 games.
Recently, trade rumors surrounding JaVale McGee have started to come out on the Internet. One of the rumors that have been making the loudest of the noise is the one involving McGee being sent to the Milwaukee Bucks

Who would win in this trade?

Regardless of who the Bucks will send in exchange for McGee, both teams would win in this deal. Steve Kerr can now focus on maximizing the potentials of Jordan Bell. On the other hand, the Bucks will be gaining an athletic big man who can defend and get the rebounds. He will be a perfect addition to the Bucks who already have Giannis Antetokuonmpo and Eric Bledsoe. Having McGee will add a much-needed depth for the Bucks.

Conclusion

If anything, JaVale McGee’s diminishing minutes under Steve Kerr is one sign that the former isn’t going to be with the Warriors in the long run so we can expect him to be traded before February. While he is already in the near climax of his career, JaVale McGee can still dunk, run on the break, defend and get those rebounds- at ease. Any team who would trade for him will definitely benefit them in more ways than what they can imagine.

Unlike Other Teams, Warriors Keeps the Team Together, Re-Signs JaVale McGee

McGee Reacts to signing with the Warriors

Say whatever you want to say to JaVale McGee but he is one of the important pieces of the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
McGee is not required to do a lot of things on the court other than protecting the rim, rebounding and catching some lob passes inside. Pretty simple tasks but a critical ones. Warriors’ management sees the value of keeping the 29-year-old center as part of their team as they contend once again for a trophy.
McGee averages 6 points, almost 1 block and 3 rebounds in 9 minutes of play. The stat line isn’t much but he isn’t really required to do much more. McGee has spent the last four years of his NBA career with four different teams starting 2013 with Denver, Philadelphia, Dallas and Golden State Warriors where he will have a chance to play for his second season.
Besides on court stats, McGee brings in the fun to the team.

Mavericks forward Parsons has not been fully cleared for the start of training camp

The Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons, center JaVale McGee and guard Wesley Matthews will all be worked into action “gradually” when the Mavs start camp next week.

Parsons, 26, underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in May to fix cartilage damage. He missed 10 of Dallas’ last 11 games, including four of five in its first-round loss to the Houston Rockets. Despite pain, Parsons attempted to play in Game 1 of the series, scoring 10 points on 5-of-15 shooting, before being shut down.

JaVale McGee gets his own reality TV show

JaVale McGee gets his own reality TV show, you read it right. the athletic but often criticize Denver Nuggets center is getting his own reality TV show and you can’t do nothing about it.  JaVale McGee known for his wild antics and poor basketball decision making is getting some attention in the entertainment world. The reality show would not be about basketball, it will feature his mom who was a profesional WNBA player. Good for JaVale.

JaVale McGee train with the Dream!

JaVale McGee has been criticized for some of his foolish antics on the court but it looks like he found his home in Denver were he is playing really good basketball. JaVale McGee is a promising young player he is tall and quick and he can certainly entertain you with his awesome athleticism, these qualities was just some of the reason why he was re sign  by the Denver Nuggets but I am sure the the Denver Nuggets so something more than that. Gilas wants Douthit, McGee for national five

Smart Gilas Pilipinas is now preparing to negotiate with Marcus Douthit for a new contract while keeping its line open for NBA player Javale McGee as another option for naturalization. “We’re now getting him back as we’re now forming the national pool,” said Antonio. At the same time, Antonio said McGee is still an option even as the NBA has resumed. (source)
Javale McGee into the Philippine National Basketball National team?! , I say its nice but the management must be crazy to even hope for Javale to play for the Philippines. NBA is the place to be for basketball players, even Pinoy players would opt out playing for the national squad if they are offered an NBA contract. McGee is young and tall with a lot of potential. Javale McGee is radical and crazy and does a lot of crazy stuff but i don’t believe he is crazy enough to play for the Philippines at this point of his career maybe when he gets older and past his prime he can consider playing. So enough news about hyping up the fans about Javale McGee.

Back to the Philippines – JaVale McGee

Wizards McGee, Its very rare that you will see an athlete like him so when the tall and lanky JaVale McGee showed up in the Philippines together with bunch of all-star there is no way Pinoy basketball fans are going to miss it. As a matter of fact McGee left a big impression to the Pinoy fans with his high flying dunks and fast phase basketball, and who would forget him planking in the middle of the court
Anyways he is back and he will be in the Big Man Skills Clinic that will be held on October 22 at the Moro Lorenzo Gym in the Ateneo de Manila University campus. I wonder how many big man Pinoys will benefit from this, I don’t think we have enough. The clinic will be conducted by Ateneo Blue Eagles and South East Asian Games national team head coach Norman Black. JaVale don’t be surprise if you see little guys show up in the  Big Man Skills Clinic. Those are actually big guys. I wonder if he will teach us the proper way of planking?
