CJ McCollum Wants to Team Up with Camelo Anthony in Portland

No words needed to imply that the star shooting guard of the Blazers wants Carmelo Anthony as a team mate.  CJ McCollum 25-year-old and a four-year veteran of Portland is absolutely making the internet go crazy after posting a photo of Carmelo Anthony on his Instagram profile.

Carmelo Anthony has been the in the center of conversation in recent weeks due to trade rumors. As per writing no imminent trade for Melo yet, and while Houston and Rockets are the front runners as the recipient of Melo, the TrailBlazers suddenly appears to be the underdog in the situation.

But who would be traded in return?

CJ McCollum MIP of the year? 32pts 7reb 6 assists

CJ McCollum

Will his performance towards the end of this month get him the MIP? I know Paul George has been tearing it up as well but PG is an all star already prior to his devastating injury or is this a darren collison syndrome that CJ is into. I think that CJ isnt far from really getting the attention of other teams like how George Hill attracted the Pacers organization to sign him to a good contract.

Right now the Blazers still have this guy in contract for 2 more years and will expire on 2018.I wont be surprised if there are teams that would make an offer for CJ next year considering that his contract is cheap and he is still young at 24 years old he can still develop and be a better player.

McCollum has the range can pass the ball quite well and attack the rim when needed.

McCollum is averaging 21 pts, 4 assts, 4 rebounds and a steal per game this season.

Here is the year end performance of CJ:

CJ McCollum Nasty 35pts to give Blazers a Back to Back Win!

CJ McCollum

Damian Lillard is out but his back up PG isn’t shy of taking over the Spotlight for his team. CJ McCollum played out of his mind last night to give his team back to back victories, something they haven’t seen this season. The Blazers are 13-20 good for the 10th spot for the Western Conference. Honestly the future for this team is just another all star away their bench is already good and they could potentially land a Kevin Durant next year if they play their cards right.

Back to the victory, the Blazers out rebounded the Kings on this game 52-43. McCollum though almost had a triple double with 35 pts, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 1 block. Cousins scored 36 pts, 6 rebounds and 2 Blocks.

Here is the highlight of the game:
