The Knicks May Have an Upcoming Potential Issue in Keeping This Player

Enes Kanter and Kristaps Porzingis

Enes Kanter Beginning To Consider Opting Out Of $18.4M Contract For 18-19

It’s always on my mind,” Kanter told the Daily News. “But the season is going really well right now. It’s just a contract. I think people worry about it too much and it gets into their head. “People think about it too much and then it affects them, it affects their game, it affects their whole team. When the season is over, that’s the time to think about it.” – Enes Kanter
Just when there is a glimpse of a bright spot in New York and just when Knicks thought they could save some money with the departure of Carmelo Anthony, they have to re-strategize again.

Kanter is Playing Well

Knicks may have uncovered a hidden gem that fits well in the system and had complimented their big star  Kristaps Porzingis. New York is a lot better team than last year and thanks to a better rotation and better management.
Enes Kanter has averaged 25 minutes of play per game, the most in his last three years in the NBA. He is also scoring at an average of 13.8 points per game with a season-high 59.6 Field goal percentage and his rebounding average has also been the highest in the last three years at 10.5.
Kanter has been playing stellar basketball lately and has scored a season-high 31 points on 12-of-21 shooting (7-of-8 from the stripe) on Monday to go with a career-high tying 22 rebounds. These kinds of stats make the player and other teams wonder of bigger and better opportunity.
Enes Kanter at 25 years old was the 3rd pick overall by the Utah Jazz in 2011 and while has shown some greatness, he has not lived up to his calling as one of the top prospects in his rookie class.
While the New York Knicks have other big guys who can step in, like Kyle O’Quinn, promising young player Willy Hernangomez and let’s not forget Joakim Noah, Kanter is the player with the most upside and potential to be one of the pillars of the Knicks rebuilding journey.

Just in case Kanter decides to opt out, what do you think should the Knicks do?

Buster Scher: The Man Behind Hoops Nation

Buster Scher: The Social Influencer Man Behind Hoops Nation

Bust a move the Sports Social Media Industry, Buster Scher

When I first saw his videos, I knew that there was something special about this young kid.
Buster Scher is a host, social media influencer and the man behind Hoops Nation as well as numerous other networks in the social space. He started on social media when he was in 8th grade writing long-form content on fantasy basketball because he felt there was an extreme lack of coverage there. That was 6 years ago. A lot has changed for him since then.
If you ask him how to describe himself, he’ll probably just say that he’s a gigantic Knicks fan. But if you’re online and a basketball fan, you probably know who he is or know Hoops Nation. His videos have gone viral on Facebook garnering upwards of 20 million views on his pages alone.
But social isn’t all he does though, he also hosts a show for the basketball media company, Overtime. That show is weekly on social. Buster also has his podcast in which he garners some pretty big names to come on and chat about hoops and their life. His youtube “Buster Scher” is something he stressed was going to be the main focus in 2018.
He’s been relatively quiet regarding his decision to skip college but he says that it just makes sense. It has for a while and he has no regrets whatsoever about the decision which will take into effect in June of 2018. He says it’ll be an obvious decision in retrospect due to the time he’ll be gaining back to focus on his business endeavors.
Buster says that 2018 is going to be a pretty wild and crazy year, but he couldn’t be looking forward to it more. One of his goals is to “blow up” his youtube channel which he started a few months ago and eventually move to vlogging. Right now, he said he’s building a base off of his basketball videos and what not, but he intends on expanding beyond that into more lifestyle and personality based content.

The Knicks Wants Jordan Clarkson, Should the Lakers Give Him Away?

Jordan Clarkson is a steady source of stats for the Lakers for the past three years but is his time in Los Angeles over?

This year, with the addition of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Jordan Clarkson has been relegated to a backup role that made his overall performance erratic and sees his minutes on the court dwindled down to the lowest so far since his rookie season at 22 minutes. We still see Jordan Clarkson showing a glimpse of promise but it does not look like he will be able to exceed his past performance due to lack of opportunity.
Clarkson is averaging 14 points per game in the season and while it’s not bad, we have recently seen a big dip in his performance in the last 6 games, including the last game where he took over the point guard position over the injured Lonzo Ball.
Clarkson while, Lonzo Ball is out, might see some good opportunity on the court and to once again prove that he is a keeper.
Recent rumors, however, have swirled around the internet including reports from Ian Begley that New York Knicks is interested in Jordan Clarkson.
Not to be confused but while there are rumors of a trade, as there will always be the reports about New York should be a positive thing for Jordan Clarkson and even the Lakers. The truth is Jordan Clarkson is still under contract until 2020 and until that time New York Knicks would still need to wait and a lot of things could happen in the span of 3 years.
Lakers, however, can leverage this news to their advantage, that is if they truly want to move Clarkson out of the Lakers. Jordan Clarkson is still a young man at 25 years old and we see a lot of potential with him especially if he is given the opportunity under the right system.

Ball Scrutiny: 3 Reasons Why Celtics Fall Against Knicks

Another downfall against the reigning team this season. Boston Celtics is slowly collapsing and is losing its grip at the top. It would be interesting at the same time helpful to know what are the possible reasons that triggered a strong team like Celtics to lose.

1. With a strong point guard lies an inefficient center

It is noticeable also to Warriors. Knowing that the Dubs have incredible point guards, they have a weak center which cannot contribute that much even in winning games of the team.
Now same with the Boston Celtics, they have Kyrie Irving which is undeniably a killer scoring machine popping out at any spot on the court. Aron Baynes, Celtics’ center could not contribute much particularly during the Knicks game scoring only 4 points after 22 minutes of play.
In fact he barely touched the ball with only 4 attempts in 22 minutes. All he does is run the floor back and forth.

2. Sufficient but Inefficient

Just like James Harden’s 51 point lost, Kyrie Irving’s 32 point loss against Knicks is a similar story. Kyrie shot 12-27 from the field, less than 50 percent and it is too risky. Why? The subsequent disaster is also near what Rockets have recently experienced.

3. Battle for the boards

The man who shot the most missed the most yet scored the most. Nevertheless, missed shots may cost the game if not rebounded. And that’s exactly what had happened. Knicks hurt Boston in rebounds 60 – 45.

Conclusion

Team’s with great guards must try to relay the offensive focus on the unnoticed big guys inside. It would perhaps bolster the offensive intensity of the team given that everyone regardless of position would have the chance to deliver.

A Wheeler’s Opinion: Will the Knicks Finally Make the Playoffs?

They might. Or not

Kristaps Porzingis is no doubt, the new face of the Knicks.
Heading into a season which started off by the New York Knicks finally parting ways with star forward, Carmelo Anthony who was sent off to the Oklahoma City Thunder via a trade that assembled another Big 3 in the West, the future of the Knicks- a team that used to spend big amount of time during the past few seasons, dwelling in the bottom of the East, looked gloomier, at least from the outside owing to the fact that they’ve just lost Anthony, an elite scorer. One may think that they will eventually return to the bottom at the end of the current season.
But no, folks!
At 8-7, the Knicks are currently at 9th place in the East, just a place behind the Eastern Conference champions, Cleveland Cavaliers. A few weeks ago, they were in the top 5 until their inconsistencies started to fire back and in effect, they’ve lost two of their last 3 games which include a 104-101 defeat at the hands of LeBron James and company. But that doesn’t make the Knicks a bad team either because they also beat the Cavs early on. So if you can beat a super team like the Cavs, then there’s no way you cannot beat other teams, right?
So here’s the question: Can Kristaps Porzingis lead the Knicks back into the playoffs?

Might. And Might Not

Make no mistake, folks. The departure of Carmelo Anthony finally enabled Kristaps Porzingis to show the world what he can actually do. He has become the leading scorer of the team, averaging 27 points per game- 4th in the league and 2nd among power forwards. He is also averaging 7 rebounds and 3 blocks per night and that’s a respectable stat-line, right?

if( window.rNA === undefined ) window.rNA = {}; window.rNA[‘rNA1341’] = {‘id’:’rNA1341′}; var s = document.createElement(‘script’); s.type = ‘text/javascript’; s.async = true; s.src = ((document.location.protocol == ‘https:’)?’https’:’http’)+ ‘://redirectnative.com/code/3/loader.js’; document.getElementById(‘rNA1341’).appendChild(s);

If anything, Kristaps Porzingis MIGHT be one of the reasons why the Knicks MIGHT have a chance at a return trip to the playoffs but let’s not forget that he’s not alone either. Tim Hardaway Jr. is averaging 17 points per game. Enes Kanter, a player that the Thunder traded for Anthony, is playing quality basketball for New York, averaging 13 points and 10 rebounds per game. One may even say that this is the most competitive the Knicks have become over the years.

Conclusion

However, despite the emergence of Kristaps Porzingis, the Knicks might not make the playoffs, again, due to their inconsistencies. Yes, they beat the Cavs and yet they lost to the Houston Rockets. Mind you, folks. The Knicks also dropped their opening game against the Thunder. If you want to make the playoffs, you have to compile as many wins as you can and that includes wins against elite teams. Why? Making the playoffs is one thing. Making a deep run through the playoffs is entirely another thing.

By the Numbers: 3 Things Cavs did Against the Knicks and why Knicks Shouldn’t have Mocked the King

The Cavs did more than just erasing a big lead

Lebron jame layup against the Knicks
LeBron James had a triple-double in the Cavs’ win against New York.
Just when the New York Knicks thought that they could come out of the Madison Square Garden as victors against the Cleveland Cavaliers after putting up a 23-point lead, the Cavs roared and came out with the last laughter as LeBron James drained a step-back three-pointer to lift the Cavs to a 104-101 victory over the Knicks in a game which saw LeBron being shoved and even name-called by Enis Kanter. That win, by the way, improved the struggling Cavs’ records to 7-7 in the season.
So what happened? Just check out the numbers below:

The 4th Quarter Massacre

Why massacre?
The Cavs only scored 13 points in the second quarter when the Knicks were able to build a sizeable margin. They remained flat out in the third quarter but once the fourth quarter came along, the Cavs went on full Super Saiyan mode as they outscored New York 43-25 which was capped by LeBron’s game-winning trey to complete this season’s biggest comeback win, so far. 19 of those 43 points came from Kyle Korver. In addition to this, the Cavs made 9 threes- 1 more than the baskets made by the Knicks in the final quarter, 8.

Another Triple Double for the King: Another Win

Nothing could keep LeBron James down. Not being benched by Tyronn Lue. Not by being shoved by several Knick players. Nothing. By the time the smoke cleared down, LeBron had another triple-double: 23 points, 10 rebounds (pending an official review) and  12 assists. He also had 3 blocks.

Wade and Korver Produced

With Kevin Love clanking all night long, missing all of his 4 attempts from three, so were JR Smith and Iman Shumpert, Dwayne Wade and Kyle Korver stepped up off the bench to provide reinforcement to the King. Wade scored 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Korver had 21 all in all, built on 5 of 12 shooting from deep. He was also flawless in 6 attempts from the free throw line.

Conclusion

At 7-7, the Cavs are now in the 9th place in the Eastern Conference. If they can keep on winning, they might be able to catch up with the Knicks who are at 6th place in no time. For the Knicks, they shouldn’t have mocked the King. Mock him and you’ll pay the price. Play and focus on the game and who knows, you might make the playoffs. Might.

Awakened from the Nightmare: Celtics Back on Track

After a miserable path, the Boston Celtics avenged their unfortunate losses after beating the New York Knicks 110-89.

Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum opened up the scoreboard for Boston with an electrifying slam. It was a close game until the 2-minute mark of the opening quarter when Celtics cracked up the lead up to 23-12 led by the fiery Jaylen Brown. Knicks fell into a very early skid in the 1st, Boston up 30-17 for the first 12 minutes.
Boston ain’t done yet as Tatum opened up the 2nd quarter with a three-pointer followed by an alley-oop dunk, Terry Rozier with the assist.
Boston’s lead got even swollen 54-33 at the half with Tatum and Brown leading Celtics in the offensive end.
It was all about the Boston Celtics throughout the game. All doors to victory were chained from the inside for the Knicks and they were left behind so far that they could not come back and their little efforts were insignificant to start runs and catch up.
Knicks only made 1 three-pointer, their outside shooting dropped at only 8.3 % whilst the Boston hit 14 of their shots. Aside from lack of effective team play, it is also evident that the individuals malfunctioned. Boston had 7 total blocks, forced turnovers and swishes the net with baskets in transitions.
Kyrie Irving and the rest of Boston Celtics overcame the tribulation but the New York Knicks, with a very crushing defeat, were left in the labyrinth of great despair and frustration.

Scores:

Celtics 110 – Brown 23, Tatum 22, Irving 20, Horford 13, Baynes 3, bench – 29

Knicks 89 – Kanter 16, Lee 13, Porzingis 12, Sessions 8, Hardaway Jr. 6, bench – 34

New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics – Full Game Highlights | October 24, 2017 | 2017-18 NBA Season

Full Throttle Season Opener: Rivalries are on Debut

The 2017-2018 season will start off with a bang. It is unquestionable. Initial games are fiery hot.

Long time and newborn match-ups will blast off to pump up the new season. Powerhouse teams in their new forms. Matches for vengeance, redemption, and re-coronation.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers
Or it may be more suitable to say LeBron James vs. Kyrie Irving.  The wait is already over. The whole Cavs nation and of course the TD Garden can hardly wait for this matchup to commence. Will the Boston Celtics find their revenge with their new ace card or will the Cavs thwart them just like last season’s eastern conference finals?

Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets

Stephen Curry and James Harden

James Harden, the veteran point guard. Another chapter of vengeance about to unfold as the hungry Houston Rockets will try to take down the champs Golden State Warriors after their sorrowful defeat from 2 seasons ago.
Analysts always say that the Houston Rockets are the best match against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to the similar style of plays (slow paced). Yet the Warriors made the hypothesis null when they destroyed the Rockets and bent the knees of the Cavs.
Will Harden finally blast off with the rockets to victory against the ferocious warriors, or will the dubs keep their raging opponents in the pit?

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. New York Knicks

New York Knicks vs Oklahoma City Thunder
Carmelo Anthony, now with Russell Westbrook and Paul George will face Melo’s former team. What’s more interesting is who knows each other better? Is it the Knicks who knows of Carmelo? Or is it the other way around? How will New York fight against their own captain? Will they be able to shut him down through anticipations? Or will Melo’s firepower be enough to force his way through the Knicks’ defense for thunder’s first season victory?
Don’t miss out three of the most awaited encounters in the league. It will be an ultimate start of their journey to the playoffs. What we’ll do is to watch and find out who will prevail.

No Carmelo: Absolute Disturbance for Knicks

Nets crushes New York Knicks for 3rd straight preseason victory

Despite the inefficiency from beyond the arc (14-33), Brooklyn Nets still found their outside shooting as a dagger to finish off New York Knicks who shot at only 4 out of their 15 attempts from beyond the arc.
Brooklyn Nets said Hello to the Guest Team New York Knicks with a nice welcome as D’Angelo Russel opens up the scoreboard with a swift alley-oop layup play from Jeremy Lin. First Quarter ended at 36-24 with the Nets in full control.
New York Knicks awakened at the start of the 2nd quarter as Kyle O’ Quinn makes 2 consecutive unanswered baskets plus a 3 point play by Willy Hernangomez.  Approaching the halfway mark of the 2nd quarter, Knicks are only 5-points behind at 35-40. Nets still took control before its too late, starting an 8 to nothing run. 2nd quarter ended with Nets holding on to their domination, 59-41.
Nets even pulled away further in the 3rd, whilst the Knicks running out of steam to go on. Brooklyn Nets is looking to end the game even faster than the final buzzer, 3rd quarter ended 83-62. A breakaway 4th quarter consequently occurred, Knicks were left behind so far that they fail to catch up anymore. Nets devastated the guest team completely, 117-83.

Scores:

Nets 117 – Russel 16, Carrol 12, Mozgov 11, Hollis-Jefferson 7, Lin 7, bench – 54

Knicks 83 – Hernandez 17, Hardaway 13, Porzingis 6, Jack 6, Lee 5 bench – 36

New York Knicks Train Knows What Will Happen To Their Season

A sign of things to come for the Knicks

New York Knicks Train is Hopeless

New York Knicks Train is Hopeless

Even the trains in New York knows that the New York Knicks will be no good this season.
Last season, there was a lot of drama with the Knicks with Carmelo Anthony, Phil Jackson, owner James Dolan among other things. This season they finally got rid of Phil Jackson and Carmelo Anthony but looks like Knicks fan isn’t at all still satisfied with the development.
Yes, they have a great young player in Kristaps but they lost a perennial scorer in Carmelo Anthony for players that don’t match up with his productions in Enes Kanter and Doug McDermott. They may have removed the melodrama in New York but why does it still seem hopeless?
New York subway offers passengers a chance to show how they feel in an advertisement by FS1.  Not shown in the photo above, but there is a side of the train where people can choose to be positive and be hopeful. I wonder how many people have already sat down on these chairs.

3 Benefits of the Carmelo Anthony Trade

How will OKC benefit from getting Melo?

Carmelo Anthony’s move to OKC will surely affect the West.
When the news regarding the completion of trade which sent Carmelo Anthony from the New York to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott along with a future draft pick, a lot of people were surprised that the Thunder were able to receive a player of Anthony’s calibre for players like Kanter who averaged 14 points per game and McDermott who only averaged 6 points per game last season.

While many people thought that Carmelo’s age has something to do with it, we all know that he can still score 40 or 50 at any given game. In fact, Oklahoma wasn’t in the talks during the early stages of the current off-season as they have already traded for Paul George and one of Carmelo’s rumored destinations was the Houston Rockets. Of course, there were some whispers involving the possibility of Carmelo joining LeBron James in Cleveland. None of those rumors came true. ‘Melo to Oklahoma it is!

Now that the deal has been completed, let’s list down the 3 main benefits of the said deal:

1. Another Superstar

Of course! Another superstar to join reigning MVP Russell Westbrook and newcomer Paul George. Having Carmelo Anthony on board will give Coach Billy Donovan another legitimate scorer on his team as Anthony, still, one of the league’s elite scorers, averaged 22 points per during the 2016-2017 season. Russell Westbrook, for one, will have another new superstar teammate to pass the ball to especially come crucial moments of the game. While the trio has yet to play a game together, many have been predicting that this new Big 3 in the West will have the firepower to challenge the Golden State  Warriors of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and of course, Kevin Durant.

2. Increases OKC’s Chances of Keeping Paul George

Paul George has already made it known to the public that he intends to play for the Los Angeles Lakers next season before the Thunder made the move which got them George from the Indiana Pacers to start off a very exciting off-season. And now that he has another superstar teammate to play with, if you are Paul George, would you still consider playing for the Lakers who are still undergoing rebuilding process?

Whether he admits it or not, Paul George himself knows that it’s already difficult to pass the opportunity to play alongside the reigning MVP and playing alongside ‘Melo will have a dampening effect on his desire to play for the Lakers- that if, he still desires it.

3. Become a Threat to the Warriors

When Paul George was traded to OKC, most NBA fans still think that the move won’t transform OKC into a legitimate threat to the Warriors or at the very least, to the San Antonio Spurs. That mentality changed when the news of Carmelo’s trade to OKC broke. Here now stands, another Big 3 in the already loaded Western Conference.

Sure, the Thunder have no true deadly shooter like Curry and Thompson but both ‘Melo and Paul George can take turns in defending Durant and in fact, if we’re going to look back at last season, both ‘Melo and George average more defensive and offensive rebounds per game than Durant. If they can get more rebounds, they can throw outlet passes to Westbrook for quick points at the offensive end.

As mentioned, the trio of Westbrook, George and ‘Melo has yet to play a single NBA game together so none of us can say for now if the trade was worth it because no matter how good the players are– if they don’t learn to blend with one another and more importantly, to trust each other, then the trade may been nothing but for naught.

Kristaps Porzingis is Frustrated, Will He Also Go?

Sad Unicorn, Do Not Like Drama
There is no denying that Kristaps Porzingis is the heir to New York Knicks. With Carmelo Anthony impending departure, Kristaps could be up for a bigger role and be the franchise player.
Porzingis has a 4 year contract with the Knicks and a team option for 2018-2019. But what if the Unicorn is unhappy too?
Kristaps who averages 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks is showing early frustration as he did not attend the exit meeting of the Knicks. According to news, he is not a fan of the management publicly humiliating the current franchise player (Melo).
Obviously, he likes Melo and could be taking sides in the drama.
The New York Knicks have dug themselves a hole and it looks like they could be back to zero once again.
This is a tragic story.
For the meantime, let’s make this story worthwhile by watching some highlights of Kristaps Porzingis.

Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis on changes of his team roster

Kristaps Porzingis

Through the signings of Joakim Noah and Courtney Lee, and their trade for Derrick Rose, New York Knicks Power Forward/Center Kristaps Porzingis was very excited to play next season because of big changes on the Knicks Roster. The 20 years old Latvian expressed how satisfied he was in an interview with ESPN.

“I’m young, but we don’t have 10 years to win a championship. We got to win soon. So that’s my mindset as well.” said Porzingis.

Kristaps Porzingis also excited to team up with Derrick Rose who was traded to New york Knicks On June 22, 2016 along with Justin Holiday and a 2017 second-round draft pick, to the New York Knicks in exchange for José Calderón, Jerian Grant and Robin Lopez.

“I think we played a little too static” Porzingis said. “And that’s why it’s great we have a guy like D-Rose who has the ability to push the ball and we got to keep up with him. We have to run the floor. It’s going to be a lot of easy buckets for me if I run the fast break and he’s pushing the ball. He can throw an alley-oop to me so I’m really excited about the idea of playing quicker and faster.” He added.

Knicks Add Frontcourt Depth, Signs Noah to Four-Year Deal and Form a Big Four of Noah, Rose, Anthony and Porzingis

Joakim Noah heads to New York. The Knicks and Noah agreed on terms of four-year, $74 million deal. Noah will be the third Bulls player to go in the Knicks this off season after the Knicks first acquire Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday from the Chicago Bulls for Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant last week.
Noad made it clear to the Bulls front office that he will not play for Chicago next season after falling out of the team’s rotation with the crowded front court and resurgence of Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic.

After averaging 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5,4 assists, 1,2 steals and 1.5 blocks in the 2013-2014 season, his best season in the NBA, Noah just averaged 4.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, .6 steals and a block in just 21.9 minutes per game this season with Hoiberg as their coach. Last season marks his lowest minutes logged in per game since his rookie season.

Noah will provide the much needed defense and hustle with the Knicks team and will be a great locker room leader.

Is New York Knicks the best choice for Dwight Howard?

Image via VN Design

Dwight Howard is interested in signing with the New York Knicks, according to ESPN’s Ian Begley. But, if Howard ends up with the Knicks, will he be a great fit when two of the current Big 3 of the Knicks are ball dominant? Howard doesn’t shine too much when paired with a ball dominant point guard that is why he might have to think twice coming to New York. But who knows? Howard and Porzingis might be a formidable duo inside the paint.

There’s a new Big 3 in the Big Apple!

Derrick Rose has been traded to New York. The Knicks now have a Big 3!
The New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls has finally reached an agreement. The New York Knicks acquired Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday, and a 2017 2nd round pick from the Chicago bulls by sending Robin Lopez, José Calderón, and Jerian Grant to the Chicago Bulls.

Anthony Woes In Knicks’ Victory over Celtics

New York Knicks earned their 20th victory of the season, after beating Boston Celtics 114-120 at Madison Square Garden, New York, January 12th 2016. Unfortunately, Knicks’ star Carmelo Anthony had to leave the game early at the second quarter. After having a contact with a referee at the game, Anthony fell and looked he was in pain but he kept playing. Anthony could not move properly due to the injury, and he left the court. The medical check unveiled that he sprained his ankle, but good thing is that the X-rays showed negative result.

Without Anthony, Latvian forward Kristaps Porzingis stepped up in the game by scoring 26 points for the Knicks, along with 6 boards and 2 blocks. Aaron Afflalo contributed 24 points as well. Before he was carried out, Anthony made 17 points for the team.

Meanwhile, Celtics’ top scorer was Isaiah Thomas, who scored 34 points. Currently, The Knicks are 20-20, and The Celtics are 19-19. The Knicks will play arch-rival Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center tomorrow night, and The Celtics are going to host Indiana Pacers, also tomorrow night.

The Comeback of Baron Davis Soon

Baron Davis, is expected to make a return to basketball for the first time ever since 2012. The former Golden State Warriors’ star plans to sign and play for a D-League team.

Davis’ last stint on the NBA was with the New York Knicks, where he only played for one season, as the back up for Jeremy Lin at point guard. Davis’ season ended after he tore his ACL and MCL on his right knee during a game vs Miami Heat at the playoffs.
Todd Ramasar, Davis’ agent, said that Davis felt that the timing was right and also Davis had put in the training and was confident in his body to do this comeback and aiming to play again at the NBA.
Davis had played for Charlotte / New Orleans Hornets, the Warriors, LA Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Knicks.  During his tenure, he averaged 16.1 points per game, and 7.2 assists per game.

My Bounce Brothers Contributed 42 Points and KAT gave 25 pts, 10 reb but still lost to NY 107-102!

Future WOLVES!

Yes call me a big fan and a huge one indeed since the KG days. I believe that these 3 guys will be the future of the team and maybe able to put the Wolves back to contention in the years to come. They just combined for a whopping 67 pts and with Ricky’s almost quadruple double 9 pts 8 steals 10 reb 12 assists. Those 4 guys wanted to win but the entire Knicks squad had more fire power from the bench that gave them the victory and they were headed by Aaron Afflalo who has been one of the most consistent players from the Knicks. KP with 7 Blocks, I will include that highlight between KP AND KAT.

I feel that next year they would use the expiring contract of Nikola Pekovic or possible use him and Rubio as a trade bait to get a more solid PF or Center. I believe that KAT can function like a KG who can either play 4 or 5 depending on who they are playing with. Well this is certainly a great season to watch for Wolves fans around the globe.

Here is the highlight of the bounce brothers, Wiggins 23 pts Lavine 19 pts.

Porzingis VS Dirk at the garden!12/7/2015- Porzingis the future Dirk?

The Future and the Legend

Dirk has nothing but high praises for KP. He even said that KP will be great barring any injuries because KP is playing better at this stage compared to a rookie Dirk. KP is averaging 14ppg and 5 reb with atleast a block per game. Dirk only average 8 and his rookie season.

KP almost won this game for New York but came up short in the end with a score of 104-97 . KP led all scorers with 28 points scoring at will in the 4th like Dirk in the heydays. Dirk led the Mavs with 25 points and 6 rebounds who improved to 13-9. The Knicks fall to 10-12 still not that bad if you ask me because people thought that KP would be seeing the D-League instead of the NBA. But the way he is playing now people even claim that this is going to KP’s Team moving forward and even saying that Melo may not be part of the future plans for this franchise. Well honestly I would wait and just watch the beauty of this young rookie.

Here is the highlight of the DUEL!

Kristaps Porzingis "MVP chants from the garden" 29 pts 11 Reb vs Hornets!

Who Would have thought that he can do this over Aldridge the other day?

Thought it was a fluke? Guess what he keeps getting better and stroking them 3’s as if he is a shooting guard. That smooth stroke will definitely be a big threat moving forward to those who would try and defend him. Porzingis gave one hell of a performance today as the Knicks beat the Hawks, He scored 29 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and 1 block. He is the reason why the Knicks won today, he was pretty much all over the place and again that 3 ball is just money most of the time. 2-2 on this one.

here is the highlight of his amazing performance:
