People tend to overlook the signing of Rajon Rondo simply because he had conflict with the organization but if Rondo’s head is intact he is arguably a top 5-7 PG at least and we all know that this League is all about having a great PG . It is also a fact that Rondo and Cousins have been wanting to play for each other since both played for University of Kentucky. Cousins is the best center in the league right now and with George Karl manning the Kings it is not a reach if they would reach the playoffs and make some noise.
Kings was able to secure Cousins and having Rondo might benefit the entire team as they were able to do good things with Collison. They also have the perfect compliment to play alongside Cousins, Willie Cauley Stein is a young version of Tyson Chandler, he might end up better and he would thrive playing with Boggie. Rudy Gay is still in his prime, sure its not on the level of Lebron or KD. But Gay is still a stud and clutch as well. I think I would let you be the judge and look at their bench and again keep in mind that their coach is George Karl.
PG – Rondo, Collison, Stockton
SG – McLemore, Bellineli, Seth Curry
SF- Gay, Casspi, Anderson
PF – WCS, Evans, Acy
C – Cousins, Koufos
They are pretty much set in every position its just a matter of being healthy, well that’s been the case for most teams health is the common issue but regardless if all teams are healthy, I wont be surprise if the Kings make some noise in the playoffs this coming season.
Hawks may have lost Caroll but they solidify their front court with the addition of Splitter and Hardway Jr. the hawks has started this pre-season showing that they are still in title contention. The hawks is now 3-0 this pre seaon beating the cavs and the spurs . They also have Tavares who could provide a great rotation with Horford, Millsap and Splitter.
They also have the much improved Dennis Shroeder and Shelvin Mack. They have the flexibility to go really big with Millsap at the three and Horford at the four while Splitter will get the Center spot, with Teague and Korver.
Here is the highlights of the Spurs Vs Hawks Game:
The Raptors has been consistent enough to get to the playoffs this past few years thanks to their Front Office and Dwayne Casey, the emergence of Derozan has been good but it wasnt enough at certain times it maybe in the same mold of what Joe Johnson did during his prime except Johnson maybe a better shooter. Speaking of Johnson, Amir just left the Raptors to play for the Celtics, but they were busy enough this off season and acquired one of the most improve player this past year. Demarre Carroll is a highly coveted free agent even though he is currently injured and he chose to play for the Raptors for the next 4 years and will get earn $60 million.
They didnt stop there certainly they had a void to fill with Johnson leaving. They were able to sign Luis Scola, BismackBiyombo, they still have James Johnson and Pat Patterson for the PF spot. I know that it maybe a bit boring to read if I continue this way so let me go ahead and provide their possible Lineup this up coming season.
PG – Lowry / Corey Joseph /Wright (#20th Pick)
SG – Derozan / Powell / Fields
SF – Caroll / Ross /Roberts Jr
PF – Patterson / Scola / Johnson
C – JV (Valanciunas) / Biyombo / Nogueira
This line up is stack and I think its better than last year even though they lost Vasquez they got Caroll and Derozan would be better playing at SG than SF at times. Caroll is also a great defender and with Casey as the head coach expect that there team will strive to be greater next season.
Expectation is huge for this team this coming season but it won’t be easy in the east now, however rumor has it that they might still be able to sign Tristan Thompson. They will need to remove some pieces to make room for Thompson. If that happens Raptors might beat Cavs 🙂 of course I just mentioned that to make you guys wonder.

I am no way putting them on top of Cleveland but one can argue that the East may not be that weak as compared to the past seasons. Bucks will be relevant for the next couple of years at least or maybe even more. They were able to acquire Greg Monroe from the Detroit Pistons and they were able to keep Khris Middleton, both were heavily recruited around the league. The Bucks was able to reach the playoffs even without their future superstar Jabari Parker, not only that they also lost Larry Sanders due to personal issues.
It is indeed amazing that the team of Kidd perform at a high level despite having challenges on the roster. They ended the year with 43-45 record. Now with the addition of Monroe, they were able to get a low post threat that can open up things for their shooters as well. He will also play with a good defensive player in John Henson and the Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo. I believe that they have the tallest starting 5 line up this coming season.
PG – Michael Carter-Williams – 6’6
SG – Khris Middleton – 6’7
SF – Jabari Parker – 6’8
SF – Giannis Antetokounmpo – 7’0
C – Greg Monroe 6’11
Their bench is strong as well, they were able to acquire Greivis Vasquez from Toronto that adds depth in their PG position aside from Bayless. Keep in mind they still have OJ Mayo, Tyler Ennis, Chris Copeland and John Henson. They are possibly ten deep with the roster they have. It can be compared to the Warriors but not the same players in every position of course.
It has been said that the Bucks were irrelevant but with Jason Kidd as the coach it is safe to say that NBA Players respect for Kidd is unmatched when it comes to his ability as a player and as a coach. I won’t be surprise if the Bucks will be the next year’s Hawks they can be that good and maybe even better if everything fall into place.
Here is the press conference of Greg Monroe and Khris Middleton:
Monroe is happy to be a part of this organization as per this interview:
“Bucks is the best fit fore me” – Monroe
Can’t wait for the next season? Keep it here and lets all enjoy the ride.
CLIPPER NATION! RISE UP!
It maybe a bit too soon to tell but this roster should already determine that the Clippers are determined to win it all, Last year they fall short after losing to the Rockets but they were able to dethrone the San Antonio Spurs, thanks to CP3’s Heroic moments. With the experience that they were able to get last year, I am sure that this will only make them even more ready for the years to come. Steve Balmer and Doc Rivers formed a beautiful roster that on paper is really something to look forward to.
PG – Paul / Rivers / Crawford / Prigioni
SG- Reddick / Stephenson / Wilcox
SF – Pierce /Johnson / Josh Smith / Dawson
PF – Griffin / Josh Smith / Glen Davis
C – DJ / Aldrich / Davis
Yes, I know that Stephenson weren’t able to give his best last season but I am sure that he is determined to prove to everyone that he is after all “Born Ready”. Pierce’s addition maybe a little overlooked but he is what they lack a clutch player that can take big shots and bring it when needed. Its amazing that they also got Josh Smith from their rival, Houston Rockets. that may also be the factor why DJ decided to stay.
I wont be surprise if the Clippers gets the #1 seed from Western Conference barring any injuries from starting 5.
One thing is for sure, Everyone will have their eyes set on CP3 because this might be his year.
What are you waiting for ? Clipper NATION ALL IN!
