“I am truly honored to have been chosen as the next owner of the Houston Rockets”. These are the words from Houston businessman Tilman Fertitta who agrees to buy Houston Rockets for $2.2 billion. “This is a life-long dream come true.” Fertitta added.
The sale is pending approval by the NBA’s Board of Governors. Fertitta is a native of Galveston, Texas, and has had courtside seats at Rockets games for the past several years.
