Jeffrey Arienza ’s career started out when his cousins, also former pro boxers brought him to Marty Elorde at 16 years old on Oct 2006. After a lot of training and being eligible to fight as a pro, he had his debut on May 30, 2008 in Bogo, Cebu and won via TKO. He was undefeated for 10 straight fights until losing to Leonardo Doronio via TKO. After switching managers from Marty to Bebot Elorde, he was given a break to fight for the WBC Youth World Lightweight Title against Masa yuki Ito but lost. After the belt became vacant, he won the title against Takaya Kakutani via TKO to prove that he deserved this title.
Again, he was given another break to become the WBC International Siver Lightweight Champion but came out disappointed against Dante Jardon in Mexico. Now, he will be facing the Indonesian fighter Wellem Reyk for the WBC ABCO Superwelterweight Championship tomorrow night (July13) at Mall of Asia in Pasay City Philippines that will bring him up to the top 15 rating of the world. 
Jeffrey only finished grade 5 but he has learned everythin g growing through experience and mentorship by his trainers and managers. This very loving family man wants to give back to his family and raise his daughter very well. “Gusto ko mabigyan ng karangalan ang Pilipinas at maraos ang pamilya ko sa kahirapan” s aid Arienza when asked what he fights for. He also sidelines as a trainer to students that want to train boxing in Elorde Alabang, which for him helps him with their bills and needs. With so much drive, Arienza has the potential to make it big inside the ring and prove to anyone that anything can happen as long as you work hard for it,
