ALA Boxing Promotions relaunches the idol series and will feature Jeo Santisima and Melvin Jerusalem this coming July 16th at Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex, Mandaue in Cebu Philippines.
Heavy handed Jeo “Santino” Santisima (10-2,9KOs) is scheduled to face Indonesian Junior Bajawa (14-8,7KOs). The Indoesian fighter is coming off a 7 streak losing streak including defeats against Filipino boxers Warlito Parrenas, AJ Banal and Richard Pumicpic.
Santisima’s last defeat was against Marlon Arcilla and riding on his 9 fight winning streak. He is coming off an impressive 1st round TKO win over Thailander Terdchai Duwangmontree last April 23.
Idol 2 will also feature unbeaten Melvin “Gringo” Jerusalem (9-0,7KOs) facing compatriot and the reigning WBC lightflyweight International champion Jonathan Refugio (15-4-4,3KOs)
