Future hall of famer and NBA legend Kobe Bryant is set to return to Manila to train young ballers as part of his Mamba Mentality Tour which will be held June 25 and 26. on 25 and 26 June.
Kobe Bryant gave himself the nickname “Black Mamba” after after watching Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill”. A deadly assassin in the movie is name after the snake for its aggresiveness and killer instincts which Bryant feels to resemble his game during his NBA career. Black Mamba is not the only nickname that Kobe named himself. He also adopted the nickname “Vino” during the twilight of his career as he is aging like a fine wine.
Bryants tour aims to inspire and pass on the mindset he had for the game of basketball. It will be his first visit after his retirement last April here in Manila and he will be conducting trainings during his Kobe Academy on June 26 with chosen ballers.
