Pinoy Pride 36: A legend in the Making

ALA Promotions released Pinoy Pride 36: Legend In the Making that will be held at the Saint La Salle Coliseum in Bacolod City on May 28.

In the the fight card that will be headed by a WBO light flyweight world title fight between WBO light flyweight world titlist Donnie “Ahas” Nietes (37-1-4,21) and former WBO world champion Mexican Raul “Rayito” Garcia (38-3,23)

In the co main event Milan “El Methodico” Melindo (33-2,12) is set to face Mexico’s Maximo “Max” Oliveros (19-2,13). Melindo’s original foe was Javier Mendoza and supposedly their rematch and IBF title eliminator but Mendoza pulled out due to his back injury.

Another Filipino-Mexican rivalry was set between “King” Arthur Villanueva (28-1,14) and Juan “El Peñita” Jimenez (22-9,15). Villanueva will try to taste the water in Bantamweight sa he fights for the vacant WBO-Asia Pacific bantamweight title against Jimenez.

Fast rising flyweight boxer Kevin Jake “KJ” Cataraja (3-0,2) is set to face much experienced Wanchai Nianghansa (5-7,4) of Thailand.
