Charlo Twins make history!

Charlo Twins Jermall and Jermell of Houston Texas, USA became the first twin brothers to hold World titles at the same division in the same weight class. Charlo twins also share history with Galaxy twins of Thailand  (Khaosai and Khaokar) who hold World titles at the same time but Galaxy twins won titles at different divisions. Khaokar was a former Bantamweight World champ and Khaosai was a former Super flyweight champion.

Reigning IBF Super Middleweight World Champion Jermell Charlo (24-0,18) retained his title with a 12 rounds unanimous decision win over former world champion Austin Trout (30-3,17).Scores were scores were 115-113, 116-112, 116-112.

Also unbeaten one of the Charlo twins, Jermall (28-0,13) prevent early scare as his opponent John Jackson (20-3,15) outboxed him in early rounds. Jermall scored  Knock out over Jackson in 8th round to captured the WBC Super Welterweight World Champion.

“I want to thank God for allowing ‎me and my twin brother to see this day, baby. Woooo! History, baby,” Jermall said after his victory.
