Andrew Benibe has found a new fuel to start the flame that was once lit.

The ever inspiring champion Andrew Benibe – the fighter who never gave up; the epitome of you can’t keep a champion down. Through the years we’ve seen him grow into the complete fighter that he is today – we’ve seen him conquer and stay humble even in defeat. The highest point in his career was earning the Bantamweight title in 2014 at the URCC 25 Takeover, after a grueling 5 round duel versus Onyok Transmonte. In his first title defense however, at the last URCC 26 Domination, Benibe lost his bantamweight belt to Jerson Estoro. The fight ended in the third round via technical knockout. Since then, Benibe took a break from professional fighting, which many believed to be his retirement from professional MMA. But as of January this year, Benibe has found a new fuel to start the flame that was once lit. He has decided to fight again this April 23.

Known as a complete fighter, Benibe is a ferocious striker with a phenomenal ground-game, he is slated to fight Drex “The T-rex” Zamboanga, a phenom fighting out of Toughguys International. Both are coming off a recent loss, but are set to work their way back up to the top in the Bantamweight division.

This bout spells much suspense and excitement; a match-up between two hungry for glory fighters. It will be a test of Zamboanga’s fighting abilities and youth against a former champion Benibe’s experience and confidence. You don’t want to miss the action!
