Temple rallies against Minnesota and wins its first game of the season at the Puerto-Rico tip-off Thursday in men’s college basketball

Four Temple players scored in double figurer fot the Owls Thursday as Temple (1-1) defeated Minnesota 75-70 in the Owls’ first game of the Puerto-Rico tip-off in men’s college basketball.

Owls’ senior Jaylen Bond led Temple with 19 points Thursday and they now fact Butler on Friday afternoon in the second round of the tip-off.

Temple was down by six points with less than eight minutes left in the game Thursday before rallying and making its comeback.
