Watch: Jerwin Ancajas’ Masterful Performance Against Jamie Conlan, Retains Belt #AndStill

Jerwin Ancajas Too Much for Jamie Conlan as Referee Put a Halt to the Contest in Round 6

There is no need for Jamie Conlan to continue to get punished by the obviously quicker and better Jerwin Ancajas as the referee stopped the fight after seeing six rounds of domination from the Filipino.
In round six, Ancajas unleased a glancing right hook that landed on the side of the head of Conlan and dropped him for good.
Start of round 1, Irish fans chants in support for homeboy Conlan as the previously undefeated fighter gets a boost from the home crowd in Belfast, Ireland.  But at 1:19 of the round, to the surprise of the crowd, Jamie Conlan, suddenly took a knee in a delayed reaction to a punch that basically previewed what will happen in the fight.  Jerwin lands combination early, brave Conlan stays in there and exchanges.

Round 2, Ancajas continues to box with Conlan, utilizing jabs to initiate action. Conlan had his left eye bloodied as Ancajas piled up some punches and created more steam behind the loads of combination punches that he is unleashing. It was all Ancajas in the second round.
Round3,  Conlan got a small window of success with his counter but not enough as two fighters seemed to relax a bit in the early minutes of round 3. The last minute of the round is where Ancajas suddenly put the pedal to the metal as he was tearing shots after shots, including body shots that crumbled Conlan to the ground. Conlan stood up but Ancajas returned back to work right away and poured in another set of body shots until the bell rang. Conlan Survived round 3.
Round 4, Ancajas continued to be aggressive yet methodical with his combinations as he slowly chopped Conlan to the face and the body. Conlan looked as if he is ready to give up as Ancajas relentlessly pressured Conlan until the end of the round. Round four was punctuated with a left straight to the face to Conlan that put this Irish down again for the 3rd time of the fight.

Round 5. At this stage, Jerwin has gained a lot of confidence as he continued the dominance while Conlan seemed to look unsure and is still finding the right formula to move Ancajas who seemed unaffected with punches thrown by Conlan. Irish crowd continues to support their man all throughout the fight. In this round, Jerwin Ancajas was deducted one point for a low blow.
Round 6. Jerwin continuous his relentless assaults with head combinations that drop Conlan again for the last time. Although Conlan gingerly got up, the referee stepped in and declared the fight over. It was total domination by the champ and the referee made the decision to finally halt the fight.
Still the IBF Super flyweight champion of the world  Jerwin Pretty Boy Ancajas.
Jerwin now improves his record to 28 W, 1 L, 1 D.
Right after the fight, Jerwin thanked everyone on social media.

Maraming salamat po una kay god na nag bigay ng lakas at panalo sa laban ko at sa mga tao pong nag dasal sa laban maraming2 salamat po..

Injured or Not Available: The Terrence Romeo Situation

Will Terrence Romeo play for Gilas?

Averaging 17 points with 3 assists and almost 2 rebounds per game, Terrence Romeo has established his role in the Philippine squad as one of the go-to guys but will he be available to play?
Terrence Romeo has attended a number of practices of the Gilas Pilipinas team but never really suited up for the team due to an injury, but is it just an injury or is it because of his current situation with the Global Port management?
Reports have surfaced about his demands to be traded and this has put some bad light on the young superstar. While there are a number of new guards in the Gilas Pool, the likes of Kiefer Ravena and Kevin Alas there is no simply replacing a guy like Terrence Romeo in the lineup.
In a recent interview, Coach Chot Reyes has said that he is still open to getting Terrence Romeo, in fact, he is still a part of the pool and the 12-man lineup is still to be decided on the very last day of submission.
We know that Terrence Romeo wants to play for the National, this is why he is physically almost available on the practice but we know that there are things beyond basketball that need to be ironed out first and the prospect of having Terrence Romeo with the team is getting dimmer by the day.
We are almost certain that Romeo will not be able to make it, it is just a matter of time until Coach reveals his final line up and regardless of how good Terrence Romeo is, he was not able to practice with the team, therefore, he is less likely to be a part of the final line up.

Prediction: Jamie Conlan is Agressive But Jerwin Ancajas’ Power and Style Will Come Out on Top

Jerwin Ancajas Invades Belfast to defend his IBF World Super Flyweight title for the 3rd time against Irish Jamie Conlan

A win for Jerwin Ancajas will increase his stocks in boxing

There is no easy road since Jerwin captured the IBF World Superflyweight title.
It was just a little over a year ago when a young man from  Panabo City of the Philippines burst into the world boxing scene when he dropped visiting McJoe Aroyo of Puerto Rico in round 8 of their title fight in Taguig, Philippines.
In front of a handful of spectators, Ancajas’ cruise to victory on his way to becoming the IBF World superflyweight title. The fight wasn’t as heavily advertised then but his fight moving forward has been the talk of the town and since being the champion, he has defended his belt in two different countries including against Jose Alfredo Rodriguez in Macao and Teiru Kinoshita in Brisbane, Australia.
Now, boxing will take him to Belfast in Ireland to face Irish very own Jamie Conlan.
Jamie Conlan is the most imminent threat to Ancajas rise to success and with an undefeated record of 19 wins (11 KO), the “Iris Gatti or the Mexican” is looking to make history as he challenges for the world title in front of his home crowd in Belfast.  Conlan at 31 years old had a number of tough fights and maybe looking to impose his aggressiveness against a much more stylistic Jerwin Ancajas who is holding a record of 27 wins (18KO), 1 draw and 1 loss.

https://lap.lazada.com/banner/dynamic.php?banner_id=59f0ac16d324f&theme=2&p=3

Conlan who also had a tough life recalls how he had worked hard to be in the position to challenge for a top prize in boxing.  In an interview, Conlan mentioned how he almost gave up and that he had to work in a hospital to keep moving while training.  Conlan looks determined to dethrone the Filipino champ but is also respectful.
“I believe Jerwin Ancajas in a great fighter, I think he is second best in the division, first would be WBO Champion Naoya” – Jamie Conlan

Ancajas’ rise to the top or Conlan’s prize for determination

On November 18, at the SSE Arena in Belfast, two hard-hitting super flyweight will collide.
One Filipino who is just starting to get international attention and one Irishman who is determined to make the most out of the opportunity in front of his home crowd.
We see a good calculated fight for Jerwin Ancajas as he shows off his boxing skills early coming in and out and picking right body combination which will force Conlan to be tentative. Conlan will try to be as technical as he can but will soon find out that Jerwin will have an advantage in that area. The Irishman will be forced to switch and fight more aggressively.
Conlan will have some success as he presses for the fight but Jerwin, much younger yet much stronger would be able to counter the attacks in the later round as he once again picks and pops some shots to the head and body. Conlan who had never faced defeats in an effort to win a round may force the issue that may result in combination punches or a knockdown for Ancajas.
On the other hand, Ancajas could be fighting with the most number of hits to his head and body as the Irishman continues his barrage of offense that would test the durability of Jerwin Ancajas.
Certainly, a great stylistic fight at hand and we see a potential referee stoppage for Ancajas in the late round as the Irishman Conlan will never back down in front of his cheering fans but his aggressiveness will be his downfall.
What do you think will happen to the fight?

Our last interview with the Pretty Boy, Jerwin Ancajas

The Richest Sports Stars from the Philippines

Who are the Richest Sports Stars from the Philippines?

Photo: From left Manny Pacquiao, Kiefer Ravena , Efren Bata Reyes,  Brandon Vera, Terrence Romeo

All the recent talk about Kiefer Ravena’s salary got us thinking about money and sports or to be more precise, money and sports in the Philippines. We all know that Manny is at the top of the list with his career earnings, but who else is taking home a massive wage packet? Let’s take a look.

Terrence Romeo and June Mar Fajardo are the top earners in the PBA with both taking home around half a million pesos a month. Yes, that’s ₱500,000 a month. Now that’s a staggering amount of cash, but it still doesn’t make them the top earners.

If we head to the NFL in the U.S., we find two players that made it big: Jordan Norwood and Eugene Amano. Granted Norwood wasn’t born here (he was born in Hawaii), but he considers himself a full-fledged Filipino, and his career earnings of over $4 million USD mean that he has to be on this list. Manila-born Amano, however, made quite a bit more in his 9-year stint in the NFL. His contracts alone were worth over $25 million USD, and that doesn’t include endorsements.

Next, we have ONE Heavyweight Champion Brandon Michael Vera; although his link to the Philippines isn’t quite so strong. His father and stepmother are from here, but he spent his entire life in the States. But as the current champion, we’ll claim him along with bona fide Filipino fighter Eduard Folayang, the first man to beat Japanese legend Shinya Aoki in five years. These guys must be making serious money to be putting their bodies on the line like that, but unfortunately, their earnings are undisclosed, so we’re just assuming that they should be on the list.

Moving onto the green felt, we have the legend that is Efren “Bata” Reyes who tops the AZ Billiards all-time money list with earnings of over $2 million USD, and that’s not counting the money he made at exhibition matches or through endorsements. Dennis Orcollo is currently earning $1.1 million USD, but with Reyes eying retirement, there’s a good chance Orcollo may catch up with “Bata” yet.

Now, unfortunately, there aren’t many ladies from the Philippines that have made serious cash in their chosen sports, but Jennifer Rosales is one who certainly has. She is arguably the best golfer we have ever produced and has amassed LPGA-career earnings of almost $3 million USD.

As for soccer, with the PFL in its inaugural season and with a salary cap for each club, we can’t imagine too many soccer players making the rich list yet. But with the league enjoying success thus far, we reckon there’s a lot more to come from the guys on the pitch. We also expect that salary cap to change considerably in the coming years.

These stars are making serious money, but they still have a way to go before they catch up with the highest earning sports stars in men’s sports. However, the living legend that is Manny Pacquiao is already there. Throughout his glittering career in the ring, “Pac-Man” earned something close to $500 million USD. That’s a vast sum that seems unattainable for many, but we live in the hope that the current boxing prodigy Romero Duno can match Manny’s earnings and career success. And after signing up with Golden Boy Promotions, it’s looking like the young boxer just might have what it takes to go the distance and become the next people’s champion.

Have we missed anyone on the list? Do you think we’ll ever get a PBA star into the NBA? Or is the PFL where our next mega-rich athlete will come from? Let us know in the comments below.

Confirmed: Terrence Romeo Wants Out of Global Port

Terrence Romeo is looking for a new adventure under a new team

Terrence Romeo Wants Out of Global Port
The 25-year-old point guard who is known for being a scorer and a fan favorite is looking for a new home after an insider confirmed that he has requested to be traded since the commissioner cup this year.
Now that the word is out, Global Port is already looking for offers from different teams and recently, news about a swap between Romeo and Meralco’s Baser Amer and Chris Newsome had surfaced.
The young point guard who played for 9 games in the Governor’s Cup and averaged close to 19 points per game had a great potential and could still improve. Romeo is already one of the best prolific scorers getting two scoring champion awards and most improved player.
Romeo was drafted 5th overall in 2013 and is now playing his 5th season with the same team that drafted him.

On the Flipside

While Terrence is an exciting prospect he might be hard to manage as he has shown some immaturity in his game and his decision making is still in question. Terrence, however, might really need a change of scenario and a new mentor that can help him be mentally ready as a player.

Where do you want Terrence Romeo to go?

Trade Alert! 2 for 1: Blockbuster Trade, Eric Bledsoe Traded to Milwaukee Bucks

Eric Bledsoe is finally getting out of Phoenix

Phoenix will get Greg Monroe and a first round pick for Eric Bledsoe

After requesting to be traded, the Phoenix wasted little time to make a move and it looks like everything will be finalized as the disgruntled point guard is finally moving out of the Suns.
Bledsoe at 27 was averaging 21 points and 6 assists per game last season. If the trade pushes through he will be playing his 3rd NBA team. Bledsoe was drafted 18th overall by Oklahoma but was traded to the Clippers where he played for 3 years. He moved to Suns in 2013 and now will potentially team up with Giannis Atetokounmpo in Milwaukee.
On the other hand, Greg Monroe also at 27 had spent two years in Milwaukee but never really performed to expectation. His best years were when he was playing with the Detroit Pistons were he averaged as high as 16 points while grabbing almost 10 rebounds a game.

With a lot of distraction from around the PBA, National Coach Chot Reyes rounds up his players in preparation for the upcoming FIBA World Cup qualifier games on November 24 in Japan and on November 27 against Taipei in Manila.
With the current commissioner issues in the PBA that left the PBA with two divided factions, the players from each divided camps reunite in an effort to help secure a slot in the coveted FIBA World Cup.
SMC players like JunMar Fajardo and Japeth Aguilar were a few of the players who were present during practices and both players have been committed to the national program and were also responsible to its previous success.
Coach Chot Reyes, recently being re-assigned back as the coach took over the job in the nationals last tournament that saw the Philippines put up mostly college and young players due to unavailability as well us the FIBA Asia Championship Cup was never really in the calendar of the Philippines as they were only given a wild card entry because of the untimely exit of Japan.

Chot Reyes Praised Players

Chot, who is also the president of TV 5 knows what the meaning of sacrifice is as he himself has taken dual roles right now in serving TV 5 now ESPN 5 and the national team as the head coach.
Coach took to twitter and expressed his appreciation for the players for showing up and sacrificing their vacations and time with family just to get a chance to wear and represent the “Pilipinas flag” across their chests in honor and dedication that he himself is doing.
Congrats and good luck to our national squad.

Chot Reyes (@coachot) tweeted at 11:25 AM on Sat, Nov 04, 2017:
In d offseason, they give up their vacay, rest, time w families- for no extra pay but d chance to wear ‘Pilipinas’ across their chest #💪🇵🇭❤️ https://t.co/2VZDLOy6dP

OPBF Convention, November 9 to 12 in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines

The OPBF conventions keep getting better and this year, the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) Convention will hold its event at one of the worlds best islands and tourist spots in the Philippines.

Trade Rumor or Humor: Global Port Terrence Romeo for Meralco’s Chris Newsome and Baser Amer

Meralco and Global Port could be cooking up a trade or are they really?

Chris Newsome and Vaser Amer could be ship to Global Port for Superstar Terrence Romeo

2 for 1 as Chris Newsome and Baser Amer could be shipped to Global Port for Superstar Terrence Romeo

Even if we have not fully recovered yet from the Kia and SMB trade that instigated one of the biggest quandaries in the PBA today, here we go again with another potential blockbuster trade that could tilt the PBA and would certainly change the landscape of both teams that are involved.

Disclosure: This is a rumor and may not be true

A sleepy YouTuber with thousands of followers uploaded a video about the impending trade that is based on a tweet. The video now has 10,000 views, a number of funny comments asking the Youtuber to go to sleep as he may be needing one.

When there is smoke, there is fire

The rumor of Terrence Romeo being traded is not new as there had been rumors about Global Port wanting to let go of either Romeo or Stanley Pringle. While both players are exceptionally good, Terrence Romeo was the more popular of the two and would attract more suitors and better returns.
Terrence Romeo also is either the reason for Global Port’s victory and demise because of his volume shooting and ball rotation becomes minimal when Terrence is on the court because of his style of play. He is fun to watch and would be one of the reasons why you want to watch Global Port basketball.

Is this a one-sided trade?

Terrence Romeo is 25 years old and may still be improving, a scoring champion that will definitely help any team gain more popularity while Baser Amer also at 25 years old and Chris Newsome at 28 are also in the prime of their career. Both players played exceptionally well in the season and two of the reasons why Meralco has reached the finals.
Personally, If I am Meralco, I won’t be inclined to making this trade so I am debunking this rumor unless they have plans and they really want to get their hands on Terrence Romeo.
On the other hand, Global Port would be a new team if this happens. Newsome and Amer may not score the same way as Terrence but both players can definitely complement Stanley Pringle as well as the new Rookies that they acquired (Lervin Flores) which we think will be a big part of the rotation this upcoming season.

5 Titles Up for Grab at the OPBF Convention Fight Night in Palawan

OPBF Brings Night of Champions in Palawan

OPBF Convention Fight Night in Palawan
With exactly one week away from the much-awaited OPBF fight night which will be held on the second day of the 55th OPBF convention, fighters get ready for their chance to showcase their skills in front of some of the most important figures in boxing including WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.
OPBF is one of the 11 continental federations comprising the WBC. The members of the OPBF regional groups are Australia, Fiji, Guam, Hawaii, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, New Zealand, PAMA, Republic of China, Samoa, Taiwan, Thailand, Tonga and the Philippines.
Newly named president of the OPBF  Baham Mitra will try to impress visitors and participants as he showcases not only a great boxing night but as well as the beauty of his hometown, Palawan were he previously served as a Governor.
Brico Santig of Highland Boxing, Gerry Penalosa and  Ryuta Kato of United Boxing Promotion will be co-promoting the fight night that will headline the nephew of the former two-division boxing champ Gerry Penalosa.

Carlo Caesar Penalosa vs Salatiel Amit

For the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver Flyweight Title.
Nickname too sharp, the 24-year-old nephew of Gerry Penalosa, Carlo Caaesar is looking for a breakout performance as he contends for a belt for the very first time in his career.
Currently, with 9 wins and only 1 defeat he will be put to a test against a fighter who is looking to turned around his career after dropping 2 of his last three fights including TKO losses to Froilan Saludar and Jonathan Taconing. Salatiel Amit Alyas Pakyaw at 25  got 10 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws is not a bad record considering the fighters who defeated him are two of the best boxers in the Philippines.

Omrri Bolivar vs Jelbirt Gomera

For the interim OPBF Silver Featherweight Title.

The Philippines’ Jelbirth Gomera should be thankful that he is getting a crack at the featherweight title as well as the opportunity to defend the Philippine flag as he faces an undefeated 27-year old Venezuelan. Jelbirth Gomera, a product of General Santos City had suffered three consecutive heartwrenching decision losses in Japan, Korea and recently in the Philippines. A win against Omrii Bolivar (5-0) would help rejuvenate his career.
Also on the card are two female championship bouts including Yuko Henzan vs Phannaluk Kongsang for the vacant OPBF Female Bantamweight Title and Erika Hanawa vs Sornsawan Khunmarn for the interim OPBF Female Minimumweight Title.

ABF Flyweight championship will also be on the line.

Other bouts will include a Flyweight battle between  Jeronil Borres vs Robert Onggocan and super featherweight tussle between Ryan James Racaza vs  Junar Adante.
Powcast.net will be in the ringside as this happens and we will be calling the action live in our official Facebook page.

Divided on Chito Narvasa’s Fate: SMC, Kia and Global Port Want him to Stay as PBA Commissioner

San Miguel Beermen, Barangay Ginebra, Star Hotshots, Kia Picanto and Global Port wants Chito Narvasa to stay as PBA Commissioner.

Five teams appeared beside Chito Narvasa in a press conference in response to the latest press release that the assumed majority bloc of the PBA announced earlier today.
According to incoming Chairman Mon Fernandez, they are no longer supporting the extension of  Chito Narvasa as commissioner due to lack of confidence.  (See story here)

Teams Supporting Chito Narvasa

San Miguel Beermen Governor Robert Non speaks before the media.
“They cannot just act on a whim. What they are doing is not in accordance with our by-laws and constitution. All five teams – San Miguel, Ginebra, Star, Kia and Globalport – stand behind Commissioner Narvasa. He enjoys our full support and we have prevailed upon him to stay and do what is right,”
The group reiterated that the meeting today was not properly announced on time and any move moving forward is not allowed. Robert Non also mentioned that the earlier announcement can’t be valid as it requires two-thirds of the league’s board to make it official.

In this case they still need one more.

Narvasa addresses trade concern

Narvasa said that the board has the power to review, modify or reverse any decision by the commissioner on any trade within 10 days. He wonders why no team didn’t do it in the case of SMB and Kia trade.
Narvasa, who is now the center of attention also said that he was thinking about resigning but was prevailed upon by friends to stay. He mentioned that he is willing to resign but the rules and procedures should be followed.

PBA Balance of Power

There is certainly some disturbance in the PBA and we can only hope that both parties can find an amicable resolution for the sake of Filipino basketball fans.

Breaking: Chito Narvasa is Out as PBA Commissioner After PBA Board Declines to Extend his Term, Who’s Next?

PBA Board won’t support renewal of Narvasa’s contract as Commissioner

Chito Narvasa was the 9th commissioner of the PBA after succeeding Chito Salud.

Today November 11, 2017, the PBA board has decided not to support the renewal of the contract of the current commissioner ending the two-year stint of Chito Narvasa.
Earlier today, the PBA Board of Governors held a meeting at the PBA office and they passed a resolution not to renew or extend the term of Narvasa who has been on a yearly term since he occupied the position August of 2015.

Present at the PBA board meeting was Al Panlilio of Meralco Bolts,  Siliman Sy of Blackwater Elite, TNT governor Pato Gregorio, Dickie Bachmann of Alaska, Mert Mondragon of Rain or Shine,  Raymond Zorilla of Phoenix,  and Fernandez of NLEX who preceded the meeting.
No show on the meeting are the 3 SMC teams, including Ginebra, SMB, Starhotshots, Global Port and Kia. Chito Narvasa was also absent. The 7 present teams, however, formed the majority.
NLEX Fernandez clarified that they did not oust Narvasa as commissioner, as they would need two-thirds of the Board, or eight members, to do that. On the flipside however it would also need two-thirds of the vote to renew his contract which won’t happen with seven teams against Narvasa.

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

Chito Narvasa at 55 years old was a former CEO of Citystate Savings Bank, former president of Basketball Coaches Association of the Philippines and he also coached Shell and Purefoods in the PBA back in the 90’s before assuming the position as the commissioner of the PBA.

As Commissioner Narvasa spearheaded and looked at how to improve leagues officiating, he introduced changes in deliberate foul, referee substitution and 14 seconds shot lock reset among others.  He also issued an order disallowing trades during draft day. Under his leadership, he has helped with modernizing the PBA to reach the millennials market by updating the website, creating a mobile app, being active on different social media platforms and allowing sports bloggers to cover the games. The PBA has also formed a number of commercial partnerships and has been very accommodating to the National team requirements by loaning players.
While there are certainly a lot of good things under his regime, there is also the dark clouds of controversies including the latest issue with Christian Standhardinger trade approval among others.
Who’s next?
Majority of the PBA Board has appointed Rickie Santos as OIC to ensure continuity of league operations while the PBA is still looking for the next person to step up.

UFC will be back in New York as George St-Pierre returned to the Octagon to take on a bigger challenge as he tries to capture a higher weight class belt than what he was fighting for a few years ago.
Four years ago, Georges St-Pierre from out of nowhere decided to go away from the sports. His last fight against Johnny Hendricks which he won via split decision marks his 9th title defense and up to right now, it still stands as the longest consecutive title defenses in UFC Welterweight division. Georges was considered an invisible fighter during his days and it seems like no one else in the UFC can figure out how to defeat him.

UFC is different now, Bisping is the King of Middleweight
When Georges St. Pierre left the sport, Michael Bisping in 2013 was a different fighter.  Bisping had lost two of his last four fights then to Chael Sonnen in 2012 and Vitor Belfort in 2013. In 2014 Bisping predicament continued as he dropped two of his three fights in 2014 against tough contenders Tim Kennedy and Luke Rockhold.
In 2015, the wheels have turned and since April of 2015 he has not lost a single fight and has gone on to defeat his previous conqueror Luke Rockhold in a fight that also won him the UFC Middleweight belt and the performance of the Night. Bisping at 38 has now compiled 5 wins in a row including memorable fights with Anderson Silva and Dan Henderson.
On November 4, at the Madison Square Garden, one man is looking to restart his MMA career by conquering an unchartered division while the other will try to prove that he belongs to the top as he spoils the return of one of the most prolific fighters that the UFC have seen.

UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping prepares for a unique title defense against longtime welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, who is coming out of retirement after four years. Bitter rivals and onetime teammates Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw will at last clash for the belt that Garbrandt now holds and that Dillashaw once wore. And dominant strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk readies for her next challenge in the form of unflappable former title challenger Rose Namajunas. Go inside the lives and gyms of these six athletes as they train to compete at the UFC’s historic return to Madison Square Garden.

How Much (More) Money will the 1st PBA Pick Make Compared to the 3rd Pick, Seems Unfair!

Christian Standhardinger picked 1st while Raymar Jose was 3rd overall in the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft.

Christian Standhardinger and Raymar Jose 2017 PBA Rookie Draft
Standhardinger and Jose are only one pick apart in the rookie draft but their salary won’t be that close as Blackwater Elite may still be unsure if the D-League MVP is worth the same hefty money that number 1 and number 2 pick is getting.
If you have not heard yet, San Miguel Beermen Rookie Christian Standhardinger and NLEX Road Warriors Kiefer Ravena are getting a max rookie deal that is worth around 8 million or about 230,000 per month. We certainly have no qualms about the salary of the first two picks as they deserved it given that they are already a proven star in their own rights and their upside is just astronomical but, Raymar Jose isn’t exactly far behind as the young Raymar is also a proven leader during his college years in FEU amassing good numbers in points and rebounds. He wouldn’t be picked number 3 for nothing, right?
Raymar Jose has also played with the ASEAN Basketball League squad Kaohsiung Truth and of course, he also represented the Philippines as part of the Gilas Pilipinas squad so surely he has all the achievements to show and get a good starting salary at par with what Standhardinger and Kiefer Ravena is getting.

Blackwater Elite offer
According to sources,  the 6’5 forward will be getting P100,000 less than the first and the second pick, in fact, he might be getting less money than Perkins or Teng.  Blackwater team manager Johnson Martinez is said to offer Jose a meager amount of P120,000 a month for the first year and P180,000 for the second.  Even Perkins who is the fourth pick will get more money than Jose at 150,000 for the first year.
Blackwater, however, added that his second-year salary would go up to 180,00K and if he will be able to prove himself, then he would get an additional performance bonus.
Side note: Last year Mac Belo(2nd pick), Kevin Ferrer(3rd pick) and Jio Jalalon(11th) got the max deal.

By the Numbers: Three BIG Things that Made Ginebra Champions Anew

Just what went well for the Gin Kings in last night’s Game 7?

LA Tenorio

Tinyente bagged another Finals MVP award as he led Ginebra to another title. (Photo by the PBA Media Bureau)

As the 2017 PBA Governors’ Cup trophy was finally into the air inside the Philippine Arena, as the confetti rained down the court, as the crowd mobbed the winning team, Tim Cone and the rest of the back-to-back champions, the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings finally released a sigh of relief.
After all, they saw the Meralco Bolts cut down a double-digit lead to just 4 points with just under a minute to play in the 4th quarter. Fortunately, time was on the side of the Gin Kings as they held on to win Game 7 with a 101-96 decision in front of a mostly pro-Ginebra 54,000+ crowd that watched the rubber match.
Now, let’s check out the numbers that enabled Ginebra to win it all, finally:

Tinyete’s 26 Points= Another Finals MVP Award

If there was one specific player who deserved all of the praises, it’s none other than one of the smallest guys from either team, Lewis Alfred Tenorio. His 26 points, built on 4 long range bombs, 4 assists and 2 steals in 41 minutes of action gained him another Finals MVP award to add to his already full resume.
Mind you, folks, this guy was playing all conference long with an injured arm but decided to wait until the end of the season to undergo a needed surgery.
Now that the season has ended with Ginebra being the champs, again, Tinyente’s sacrifices were all worth it. That, folks, is the living example of Ginebra’s NEVER SAY DIE attitude and whether you like him or not, Tenorio deserves a drop of your respect.

50% Field Goal Shooting: The Less. The Better

Sometimes, you don’t need to shoot more to win a basketball game, especially in a championship game. The Meralco Bolts took 84 SHOTS in Game 7 and they only made 35 of them. In contrast, Ginebra only took 77 shots and yet they made 39 of them, a 50% field goal shooting. Efficient, isn’t it? They also better at the 2-point area (53%) and from long distance (43%). Now that’s how you win a championship. By hitting your target instead of missing them, horribly.

55 Points for Ginebra’s Giants

As mentioned by this basketball pundit on wheels during the entire series, one of Ginebra’s main strength against the smaller Bolts is their height. And if you watched Game 7 last night, then you saw how the bigs of Ginebra continuously pounded on the inside while Justin Brownlee sniped from the outside.
The result: Brownlee, Greg Slaughter, Japeth Aguilar and Joe Devance went on to combine for 55 points- 23 from Brownlee alone.
That’s a big difference compared to the output of Meralco’s bigs who got 26 points from Allen Durham and only 7 from Reynel Hugnatan. Now that’s dominance.

Conclusion

Meralco may have lost, again but that doesn’t make them any weaker. No. It’s just that they’ve lost to a better team, again. They’ve lost to a hungrier, bigger and more talented team in Ginebra. That’s the reason why the Gin Kings are kings again.

54,000+ Witness Game 7 as Ginebra Wins it All, Finally

And they survived a furious 4th comeback from the Bolts

LA Tenorio may be playing with a problematic arm but that didnt stop him from hitting 5 threes in Game 7. (Photo by the PBA Media Bureau)

After six games, no championship trophy was hoisted into the air. Yet.
After six games, the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings couldn’t use their size advantage to the fullest.
After six games, the Meralco Bolts couldn’t hit their target. Consistently.
After six games, the series is still tied at 3-3 and that’s why we’re heading to a Game 7 so they can finally decide who will take home the PBA Governors’ Cup championship.

Ginebra Imposed Early Dominance

The defending champions started Game 7 with a 5-0 scoring blast as Meralco found it difficult to find the basket as the latter went scoreless until Allen Durham scored on a pair of charities 2 minutes into the game as he later added a lay-up to make it 7-4, in favor of the Gin Kings. Ginebra’s lead never reached beyond 5 points during the first 6 minutes of the opening quarter as Meralco was able to slice it down to 1, at 12-11. Compared to Game 6 when they were shooting miserably from deep, Ginebra already have 3 three-pointers made during that span- 2 from LA Tenorio.

Turnovers have began to hit the Bolts’ offense as evident by Baser Amer who have the ball tipped by Scottie Thompson  as the latter dished the ball to Japeth Aguilar for an easy lay-up to make 21-14, with under 3 minutes to play in the 1st quarter as Ginebra ended the first quarter on top, 27-19 with LA Tenorio leading the way for the Gin Kings.

Ginebra continued with their efforts to break the game wide open as LA Tenorio later hit another long bomb and Scottie Thompson added another lay-up to give their team, a 9-point advantage, 4 minutes into the second quarter as Norman Black called a timeout. Mark Caguioa scored on a floater and Justin Brownlee added another inside to make it 42-29 as the Bolts struggled to get anything on their offense. Ginebra’s lead later ballooned to 19 as Caguioa and Greg Slaughter took turns in scoring on the inside which led to another Meralco timeout with under 4 minutes to go before intermission. The champs held a huge 52-37 lead into the break as Meralco acted as if they needed a halftime filled with rants from Norman Black because their offense in the first half was a mess, really.

The Halftime Numbers

Tiyente LA Tenorio had 13 points while Justin Brownlee added 11 points and 4 rebounds. Offense-wise, Ginebra was the dominant team as evident by their 58% field goal shooting in the first half, including a whopping 65% shooting in the 2-point area. They also prevented the Bolts on the break, limiting Meralco to 0 FASTBREAK POINTS while Ginebra 6 points off fastbreak opportunities.
Surprisingly, Jared Dillinger had 11 points after the first two quarters for Meralco while Cliff Hodge added  8 makers. Allen Durham was almost a non-factor for Meralco as he only managed 6 points on a horrible 1 of 6 shooting while playing for 24 minutes, so far. Meralco’s inability to score consistently in the first half was what doomed them in the first place as they only made 35% of their shot attempts. Lots of clanks. Indeed.

Meralco’s Struggles Continued

After Meralco sliced the lead to just 12 points during the opening minutes of the second half, Ginebra unleased an offensive outburst to re-establish a 20-point lead with under 10 minutes to play- a lead sliced down anew to 17 after Allen Durham completed a three-point play. However, shooting slump hurt Meralco during the early goings. To make things worse, Jared Dillinger was called for a “deliberate” foul after a hard foul on Japeh Aguilar with under 4 minutes left. Despite Allen Durham’s commendable effort who produced 12 points in the 3rd quart alone, Meralco failed to contain LA Tenorio who already had 23 points after 3 quarters as Ginebra walked with an 81-64 leading into the final quarter.
Meralco began the 4th quarter by cutting the lead to 12 anew thanks to Garvo Lanete’s trey which forced Tim Cone to call a timeout with barely 2 minutes into the quarter. But Justin Brownlee scored 5 consecutive points for the Gin Kings to quickly regain control and put his team up, at 86-69. Ginebra’s lead never reached below 11 points the rest of the first 7 minutes of the 4th quarter as every time Meralco attempted to cut the deficit, Ginebra instantly answered right back with an outburst of their own to keep the Bolts at bay.
That was until Anjo Caram scored on a lay-up to bring Meralco within 9 points for the first time in a LONG time. However, for Meralco, Joe Devance made it 100-89  on a lay-up with under 2 minutes as time was already on the side of the Gin Kings. Chirs Newsome decreased the deficit down to 7 on a lay-up while he was fouled but missed the bonus charity as Allen Durham grabbed 2 offensive rebounds during the final minute and dished an assist to Jared Dillinger who in turn, drained a three-pointer to make it 100-95 with 40 ticks on the clock. Utilizing their height advantage, Japeth Aguilar was able to grab an important offensive rebound as LA Tenorio made 1 of 2 free throws to make it, 101-96 with 22 seconds left as Norman Black used up his final timeout of the ballgame.

The Numbers that Mattered in the End

LA Tenorio led Ginebra with 26 points while Justin Brownlee added 23 points and 8 rebounds. Scottie Thompson chipped 14 points and 9 rebounds- leading the Gin Kings in rebounds in this victory. As expected, it was defense that won the title for Ginebra as they limited Meralco to only 41% field goal shooting throughout Game 7.
Allen Durham’s 26 points and 24 rebounds were all for naught as Meralco, for the second consecutive time, against the same team, failed to win it all. Jared Dillinger’s 20 points came way too late and so were Cliff Hodge’s 14 points. Despite their 52-43 advantage in the rebounding battle, Meralco missed 7 of their 23 attempts from the free throw line. SAYANG, isn’t it?

GAB Reminds PBA of Controversial Trade Between SMB and Kia

GAB REMINDS PBA OF IMPARTIALITY AND BALANCE FOR DRAFT

Lopsided trades could turn off fans

Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Chairman Abraham Mitra today called out the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to remind the basketball body that the GAB is looking intently on how the coming draft will be done.

“There are complaints about the KIA-SMB deal and we are intently observing. How the PBA will handle it will determine if the next season will excite or turn off fans,” says Mitra.

“We would like to have a balance between all teams which would help competitiveness and boost sales. We want more teams to grow their fan base. Fans troop to games with star players. The danger of declining ticket sales becomes real when stars are concentrated in only a few teams, ” added Mitra.

The trade is reportedly taking place this coming weekend but the PBA has not hinted if the KIA-SMB  will be approved or not.

“KIA, Blackwater, Global port and Phoenix seem to need more stars in their team to be able to compete with the others. As in the past, lopsided matches affect public interest, gate receipts and revenues to the government. The yearly draft is normally an opportunity for weaker teams to get better players to hopefully even up the games.”

The GAB is the government agency that regulates all professional sports in the country like basketball, boxing, football, golf, cycling, motocross, billiards, and e-sports. It is also the collecting agency of 3% of gate receipts and income from tv coverage contacts.

“We hope the coming draft will give teams with lower winning records the fair chance  to equalize themselves with the others,” he added.

9 Reasons Why The Phenom Kiefer Ravena Should be Number 1 in the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft!

Kiefer Ravena is really the best in class even against Standhardinger

Kiefer RAvena PBA Rookie draft combine
Photo from PBA Media Bureau
Kiefer Ravena is a franchise player material, should be number 1!
Sure, you can’t train height and these days in the PBA it is a rarity and while everyone has been looking at Christian Standhardinger as the consensus number 1 pick of this year PBA rookie draft, I personally have a different perspective.
Kiefer Ravena has long been considered as a top pick for the PBA even before we heard about Christian Standhardinger and the 23-year-old point guard from Iloilo who played for the Blue Eagles have proven his worth time and again.
Here are the reasons why we think Kiefer Ravena should be the number 1 pick.

1. Proven Winner.

Kiefer Ravena won’t be called the Phenom for nothing. At a young age, he has already accomplished things that none of the other PBA rookie hopefuls had. He probably got the most championships under his belt with different leagues. He also has MVP and mythical team awards left and right and just to give you an idea of how accomplished the young baller is, take a look at the list of his accolades so far below.
2× UAAP champion (2011, 2012)
2× UAAP MVP (2014, 2015)
3× UAAP Mythical Team (2011, 2014, 2015)

Unigames MVP (2014)
Unigames Mythical Team (2014)
PCCL Mythical Team (2012)
PCBL MVP (2016)

2. International Experience and Exposure

A stint with Might Sports, Texas Legends, Alab Pilipinas, the National Teams and other international basketball tournaments. Kiefer is no stranger to different styles of basketball as he had already played around the world, most of which he was rather successful. Garnering 6 gold medal representing the Philippines and playing against top players all over the world. This basketball player would probably not have any rookie jitters as he has been preparing for this moment for a long time already.

3. Multi-faceted Game

Christian Standhardinger may be able to dominate the inside and grab a number of rebounds for you but Kiefer Ravena can do a lot more. In his college years alone, he averaged as high as 21 points while grabbing 5 rebounds, dishing out 5 assists and complementing his total all-around game with almost 2 steals per game. Kiefer Ravena is a unique basketball player who can do a lot of things for his team. He can play the one and two spots and has the ability to play effectively on both ends of the court.

3. Exceptional Athleticism

The highest vertical leap at 39.5 inches, the fastest to sprint the 3/4 court in just 2.78 seconds and also besting the agility drill. Kiefer Ravena topped 3 of the 5 tests in the recent PBA Draft Combine proving that he does not only have the skill set to be a top pick but also the athleticism and the body to compete against the rough and tough game of the PBA.

4. Leader Mentality

Kiefer Ravena looks like a natural born leader on and off the court. On the court, he leads and takes risks. He is the type of player who takes charge on a tight situation. Never shying away from taking shots, Kiefer is an ideal player who can take a team to new heights and will certainly push boundaries.

5. Commitment

Kiefer Ravena at 23 has gone places and have played in different leagues. He has tried out internationally including in the NBA D-league but at this stage of his career, we think he is now fully committed to the PBA and unlike Standhardinger who signed a contract with Hong Kong Eastern Long Lions while also applying for the PBA Draft, Standhardinger not only will he be not readily available as he needs to honor his commitment to his current team, he  may also have the tendency to play for another international league due to his international experience.

6. Star Power

Yes,  Standhardinger is now a star in basketball and could be bigger once he officially starts, but Kiefer Ravena is bigger and will probably attract more followers than anyone in the rookie draft class this year. Ravena will not only have a following from his alma mater Ateneo, he also captures the followers of his other half Alyssa Valdez, who is also one of the biggest sports figures in the Philippines. But Kiefer’s popularity goes beyond basketball and I am not talking about his viral incident on the internet.  Kiefer is also an actor and a host who appeared on major television and even had a show. He has also been nominated in the past from different magazines like Meg for Top Youth Icon, Candy Cutie Award and to top it all, he also has been included in the Starmometers Award for 5 consecutive years as one of the sexiest men in the Philippines. Imagine how many screaming girl fans your team would win.

7. Sports & Basketball Lineage

The son of former PBA and coach Bong Ravena, Kiefer is also the son of a PBA Rookie of the Year and Most Improved Player. Kiefer has lived and breathed basketball together with his younger brother Thirdy. Having a mentor and a father who had great experience in the sports certainly helped a lot in molding a basketball athlete.
Did I mention his mother was also an athlete?

8. Full Breed Local

Bong Ravena from Manila whom I mentioned above and Mozy Ravena a volleyball player from UST are the parents of Kiefer Ravena. Both full-blooded Filipinos with proud roots from Iloilo City, Kiefer Ravena is proudly local with international caliber basketball skills. Surely, we should promote locally made products 🙂

9. PBA Primed and Ready

He was probably ready two years ago, and today he is primed and ready to make a difference in the Philippine Basketball Association. Whether he lands with Kia, NLEX and Blackwater, Kiefer Ravena will certainly make an immediate impact on and off the court. He would help bring a number of wins as well as a number of followers. After all, it’s all about numbers in basketball. And he certainly deserves to be this year’s number 1 draft pick.
Good Luck Kiefer Ravena!
Sidenote: If Kia does not want Standhardinger, instead of trading him why not pick Kiefer Ravena instead of getting a number of old guys.

Why Barangay Ginebra Will Be the Champion Tonight!

Kudos to Meralco But this Trophy Belongs to Ginebra

The headline after game 6, if  Meralco Bolts Starters fail to contribute as Norman Black hoped for.

Barangay Ginebra 2017 Governors Cup Finals

Before we get started, take your cellphone flashlights up and let’s walk down the memory lane to last year’s Ginebra championship run against the same team they are facing today.

If history repeats itself then we better charge our cell phone batteries as we get ready for darkness because Meralco will be shut down tonight.

As Ginebra faithfuls reminisce the memory of last year’s fateful night, it does, on the other hand, haunt the Bolts fans. Tonight, the game 6 of the 2017 PBA Governors Cup is a chance for Ginebra to defend the title and accomplish a feat that has never been done by the franchise. A back to back championship. On the flipside, Meralco is looking to extend the series and prevent history from repeating itself.
October 25, 2017, 7 pm, at the Philippine Arena, get ready for a stream of heavy traffic and basketball fun as this basketball-crazy country unite at one of the biggest arenas in the world for a possible last game of the 2017 PBA season. With the best of seven series at 3-2 in favor of Ginebra, the 55,000 capacity arena may be put to test as they try to conclude the series today.
We talked about a lot of stats in our previous articles but today we will give you our analysis mostly based on gut feeling and observation. We know we are taking a risk on this but we equally love to get those hate messages.

Why Ginebra will win today?

I personally think Ginebra will secure the win today! I know that Tim Cone and his crew are treating game 6 as a do or die game much like how Meralco will be playing tonight, the only difference is Ginebra has been really the better team in the series even during their losses. Even at the time Meralco last won in the series, Ginebra was shooting better.
While Meralco’s got a number of talents on their roster, it isn’t exactly working as Norman Black hoped for especially in the last game when none of the starters of the team were able to produce double-digit scoring contribution. Ginebra, on the other hand, has been enjoying the benefits of having a deep and tall line up that steps up when it’s number is called. Take for example Greg Slaughter stepping up for Japeth Aguilar, Mark Caguiao providing a spark, so on and so forth.
Tim Cone also looked like he is ready to die for a championship as he emphatically shows appreciation and frustrations to players on the sideline. In the last game, Tim Cone was seen throwing a chair during the huddle as if to show his dismay and at the same time his desire to not let go of the situation.
Lastly, we know Ginebra will be banking on the crowd support that’s evidently always there for them. A win tonight will be a win for the majority of basketball fans in the Philippines.

How can  Meralco extend the series?

While I think Ginebra will get it done tonight, Meralco could still come up with a jolt of power which can extend the series but it would be much tougher than their first two wins. Meralco needs to be perfect and their starters need to be consistent especially from the outside. The Bolts cannot afford any short circuits. Durham needs to continue his exemplary basketball play and the locals need to complement him.
If their outside shooting clicks for Meralco tonight, then they may have a chance of extending the series to a game 7, otherwise, it may already be lights out for them.

Christian Standhardinger has Spoken About his PBA Rookie Draft Status

I am officially under contract in Hong Kong – Christian Standhardinger

But I’ll see you all on draft day

Christian Standhardinger has been making waves in the Philippines even if he is not literally in the country. The top prospect was not at the PBA Rookie Draft Combine yesterday and today. It got PBA teams and fans concerned.  A lot of questions around his intentions and eligibility especially after news about his disqualification surfaced.

Christian Standhardinger, the 28-year-old Filipino German is the consensus number 1 pick in this year PBA draft and even got SMB scrambling to make trade proposals in order to grab the service of the big man.
Finally, Christian has spoken and has cleared the clouds about his real intention.

Christian also made it clear that they have advised the PBA and will certainly be present during the PBA draft day ceremony.

Warning: Foul Words from Kyrie Irving to a Fan, " Suck My D..:" He Got Fined 25K

Kyrie Irving Had No Regrets in saying ” Suck My D..K” to a fan in Philly

Foul Words from Kyrie Irving to a Fan

Kyrie Irving takes full responsibility for his actions and apologizes to kids at home but he simply does not regret it.

Kyrie Irving isn’t in the mood for fan conversation especially if the topic is LeBron James.
According to Kyrie, it was just the heat of the moment as they were down by four in the game. The Boston Celtics eventually won that night with the score of 102 -92 and Kyrie led the scoring parade with 21 points but his statement against the fan cost him $25,000 for his profane outburst.

Boston Celtics currently hold a 1 win and 2 losses record so far and the loss of Gordon Hayward may have already affected their season. The 25-year-old guard is carrying a new team on his shoulders after being traded from Cleveland. Kyrie could be feeling the pressure this early in the season.
Let’s watch the viral video of Kyrie Irving saying suck my d–k to a fan.

So Far Kyrie has been averaging 20 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. The line looks good and the Celtics still look like a playoff contender in the east, however, contending for the championship may be out of the question especially after the untimely departure of Gordon Hayward.

Motives and Money: Kia Trades Potential Top Pick Christian Standhardinger to SMB?

Kia to Trade Top Pick to SMB for Players and Cash, and it must be a lot of cash!

When Money is more important than winning

Kia is set to trade their top pick once again, this time to San Miguel Beermen.

Related: We predicted this might happen but kinda hoping that it didn’t

San Miguel is set to acquire Kia’s top overall pick for this year PBA draft that can potentially be either Christian Standhardinger, Jeron Teng or Kiefer Ravena for R. Reyes, Rashawn McCarthy, Keith Agovida, a future first rounder, and cash considerations. That’s four players in exchange for one rookie.

They must really like this player.

This is not the first time Kia did the same stunt. They traded their top pick back in 2015. Troy Rosario was supposed to be playing for Kia and could have helped the longtime bottom team in the PBA to win some games but they chose to trade him for reasons that only they can understand. Rosario has since gotten 5 gold medal for the Philippines, two all-star appearances, and an All-star MVP.
Kia who had been struggling since they joined the PBA in 2014 has long been missing its identity and has struggled to get a franchise player and now that they have another chance, they are looking to give it away once again for a number of unknown players. That’s questionable.
PBA Board Vice Chairman Dickie Bachmann has already voiced his concern regarding the intention of the move. Fans alike have scratched their heads and have challenged the PBA to decline the said trade.
If the trade pushes through, SMB could acquire Christian Standhardinger and will get to keep its core players like JunMar Fajardo a 4x MVP, Chris Ross, Alex Cabagnot and Arwin Santos. All part of the mythical team.

Kia should think twice about this trade.

This year, 18 managers were retained and two newcomers will be battling it out for the 2017-2018 title and the tournament gets tougher each year as the managers gain more experience and knowldge about each other.

Powcast Managers Advice for Fantasy Managers

This year’s champ Saling Ketket is up for a new challenge as he picked last in the also recently concluded draft which happened the next day of the celebration. The former, however, seemed to not mind being the last one to pick.

New Awards, New Fun

While the competition becomes tougher, the league has decided to implement new set of awards and recognition aside from the Top 3 getting a cash prize. This year, the regular season number one seed will get his money back and an automatic entry for next year, given that he is not part of the top 3. The team has also decided to reward the most active mangers in terms of movements in free agency and trades, this is to promote more interactions and create rivalries.

Bugy’s Bar and Bistro

The celebration last Saturday also marked the second time Bugsy’s hosted Powcast.net Fantasy party, the first being 2 years ago. Bugsy’s Bar and Bistro is in the heart of the busy business district of Bonifacio Global City. You can find them at Forbes Town Road near Burgos Circle, along side many other restaurants.
Bugsy’s offers a wide variety of food including steaks and their newest Pinoy Lunch Favorite. We had a taste of the scrumptious big Chefs Garlic Chicken, the Pinoy Champ Sisig, Boneless Bangus, a big bowl of Nilagang Baka and who could resist the classic Kare-Kare? Even our kids and partners who came along and celebrated with us enjoyed the food and the awesome service that Bugsy’s provided. Their crew were so accommodating and friendly, we might just return again anytime soon!

Fantasy Basketball in the Philippines

We couldn’t tell when Fantasy Basketball started nor where it originated but we knew for a fact that it was inspired by fantasy baseball. It was originally played by keeping tack of stats manually on paper and was popularized in the 90’s. Now in the year of computers and mobile, many people enjoy the game and act like general managers of their own NBA teams. Today, Fantasy is mostly played using mobile phones.
We are definitely not the early adapters in the Philippines, but we are one of the most organized and we have managers who have been playing since 2003. That’s worth 14 years of experience and expertise. Powcast Fantasy is committed to promoting fantasy sports in the Philippines and for the past 6 years, we have heavily advertised our tournament and offer new managers a chance to join the league every season.
For NBA enthusiasts who are interested to learn more and those who want to join the league, please don’t hesitate to send as an email at inquiry@powcast.net. If we reach at least 12 managers, we might open up a second league.
