Mahindra Broken Down by Rain or Shine, Plus Jay Washington’s Milestone

Another tight ball game in the PBA.

Once again four quarters were not enough to settle the difference between Elasto Painters and Floodbusters. The game was close from the get go as both teams tried to establish an early rhythm.

Both imports led the charge of their respective teams but Taggart came out big when it was needed the most. Belga, Yap and Chan all scored in double figures while Gary David led the charge for Mahindra exploding in the fourth quarter.

Rain or Shine edged Mahindra in 3 critical areas: Rebound, Points in the Paint and Bench Points.

Sidenote: Jay Washington became the  83rd member of the 5,000-point club and the first-ever E-Painter to join the list.
