2016 PBA Offseason Grades: Phoenix Fuel Masters

It was just a month ago after the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel won their first championship in eight years and the PBA already opened it’s 42nd season. Let us examine how each team did in the offseason.

Phoenix Fuel Masters

Players in: Doug Kramer

Players out: Mick Pennisi, Ronjay Buenafe, Mark Cruz

Drafted players: Matthew Wright, Gelo Alolino, Jeoffrey Javillonar,

GRADE: B

The Phoenix Fuel Masters didn’t make any big move this offseason other than drafting young and talented players Matthew Wright and Gelo Alolino. Their guards and wings got bigger with the addition of Wright and Alolino and become more deadly from the outside.
The Fuel Masters dealt Mick Pennisi to GlobalPort Batang Pier for Doug Kramer in the off season. Pennisi is an aging center who always love to shoot from beyond the arc while Kramer is a big banging center that can provide an inside presence for the Fuel Masters.
