Bayern and Hertha wins, Hoffenheim stayed unbeaten, Dortmund dropped points

Bayern Munich 2-0 Borussia Monchengladbach

After two draws in the league the last two matchweeks. Bayern were back to winning in the German Bundersliga to stay ahead on top of the table. Aruto Vidal made it 1-0 for the Bavarians in the 16th minute after he scored a nice header to pass the opposing goalkeeper. Douglas Costa followed things up in the 31st minute to double the lead of his side. It was a big win for Bayern because there are numerous of teams that are breathing on their necks to take the top spot of the league.

Hertha Berlin 2-1 FC Koln

Hertha are now unbeaten in their last 4 league outings as they continue to put the pressure on Bayern Munich on top of the Bundesliga table. Koln defeat means that their unbeaten run comes to an end and lose a little ground on the race to the top. Vedad Ibisevic opens things up in the 13th minute to put Berlin ahead in the match. The scoreline remains that way until the league’s current top goal scorer Anthony Modeste scores for Cologne in the hopes to keep their unbeaten run going. But in the 74th minute Niklas Stark capitalizes on a defensive error by Koln in a set piece which he was left unmarked to scored to eventual game winning goal. 

Bayer Leverkusen 0-3 1899 Hoffenheim

Unlike Koln, Hoffenheim manages to keep their unbeaten start to the season alive after a big win against Leverkusen. Karem Demirbay put his team ahead in the 15th minute after the defense were caught napping and scores a nice goal in the penalty box. Sandro Wagner scored just 4 minutes after the restart after he tucked in an on-point cross to the box. Steven Zuber then made it 3 to score the final goal of the game. The match was also known for the dismissal of Leverkusen’s Kevin Volland against his former team after being the last man when he committed the foul.
Ingolstadt 3-3 Borussia Dortmund

FC Ingolstadt are still looking for their first win on the league against a stacked Borussia Dortmund side, however Dortmund has been struggling this season and are winless in their last two league games. Almog Cohen put Ingolstadt ahead in just six minutes after a great ball to the box which falls beautifully to him for an easy finish. Dario Lezcano scored an almost identical goal in the 24th minute. In the 59th minute Dortmund pulled one back thanks to a goal by the second top goal scorer in the league Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. But just 1 minute after the goal Lezcano scored his second goal of the game after a nice low cross into the box. Ramos scored for Dortmund in the 69th minute to once again rekindle the hope of a comeback. Then in stoppage time Christian Pulisic scored the equalizer for his after the ball rebounded to him when keeper saved the header of Piszczek.
