Scores were 114-113, 116-111 for Paypa and 115-112 for Concepcion.
22-year-old Paypa improved his record to 18 Wins w/ 6 KOs 1 Draw and 3 Defeats (18-3-1,6) while two time world title challenger and long time contender dropped to (34-7-2,20)
In the co main event Roberto Gonzales (27-2,17) shocks previously unbeaten Arjan Canillas
(13-1-2,10) to capture the vacant Philippine Game and Amusement Board lightweight title.
Gonzales’ 7th round TKO victory over Canillas set him up for a regional title fight for his next fight.
