Mixed Martial Arts Super Mega Fight Explodes this Saturday in Cubao
Mixed Martial Arts enthusiast can get their money’s worth once they watched Balikatan 13 on October 24, 4: pm sharp titled Pathway to Greatness live at Hybrid Yaw-Yan Mixed Martial Arts Training Center; 5th floor Karen Building, 9 Annapolis St., Cubao, Quezon City.
The 13th edition of Balikatan Mixed Martial Arts Tournament held every three months will feature 20 exciting Mixed Martial Arts Matches, headlined by a Senior Pro-Am MMA Match between a veteran Hybrid Yaw-Yan’s Fighter John Joseph Tabang against a Judo Black Belt and Muay Thai Veteran with an unblemished MMA record from Team New Blood, Erdie Bautista.
While on a Junior Pro-Am MMA Match, Hybrid Yaw-Yan fighter from Lucena City, Quezon Province Willie John Benedicto will collide against UGB MMA Gym’s Japanese fighter Kaji Ebin. Both players are undefeated in MMA, with Benedicto’s 3-0 Amateur MMA Record against Ebin’s 6-0 Record.
Hybrid Yaw-Yan Fighter Miguel Samonte 185 lbs., will battle it out on a Super Fight Match up against Savage MMA Fighter Axle Simeon 220 lbs. With a 35 lbs. weight advantage, Simeon might take this fight to the ground while Samonte on the other hand will utilize his height advantage to keep his opponent at bay.
Another exciting match to watch are the Pro-Am Kickboxing Match between Yaw-Yan Kampilan Fighter Kimcyrus Vallejos against a Professional Boxer and undefeated in Boxing both in Amateur and Professional, Samson College MMA Fighter Famelo Tabanao. Both fighters are vying to get the Knock-Out of the Night Award, while on an Amateur Kickboxing match, Yaw-Yan Kampilan Fighter Ace Darwin Ross will take on MAP Rizal Fighter Marc Philip dela Cruz.
On a lone Submission Grappling Match, Hybrid Yaw-Yan Player Jose Maria Mendoza took the challenge from San Fernando, Pampanga Titan MMA’s Player Jerry Manalus.
One of the most much awaited MMA Match will be the clash between Samson College MMA Fighter Jomar Pal-iwen against Independent Fighter Christian Ting. Pal-iwen an excellent Kickboxer bagged the Best Fight Award in Balikatan Nine while Ting will use his Grappling Skills to break even in this match.
The Main Event will be an exciting Super Mega Fight between Yaw-Yan Kampilan Fighter Ricswartz Sibal against Cabanatuan City’s Savage MMA Titanic Fighter Ronn Merchadesch.
Balikatan Mixed Martial Arts Tournament create the Super Mega Fight Match to accommodate matches that have no less than 50 pounds weight difference between both fighters, Sibal for instance is 165 lbs. while Merchadesch is 240 lbs.
