What is it?
It is, the innovative new concept, the brainchild of Indian doubles tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi in which he assemble a star-studded lineup of top men and women tennis players to play against each other in two weeks, four team format, and the winner will get a sum of 1 million US Dollars.
Who are the Tennis stars that will be coming over to Manila?
Spain’s world number one Rafael Nadal alongside Serbian Ana Ivanovic, American legend Pete Sampras, and hometown hopes Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna.
Andy Murray of Scotland, a singles champ at Wimbledon and at the U.S. Open, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France, Spanish veteran Carlos Moya, Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, Canadian Doubles specialist Daniel Nestor, and Filipino-American Treat Huey.

Why here in Manila?
This event, the IPTL, originally slated to be in Bangkok, Thailand, but has been moved to the Philippines because of political unrest in the Thai capital. Another lucky break for Filipino Tennis fans.
