While everyone expected that Lebron James would top the sales in this year NBA jerseys, Carmelo Anthony got something to say about that. Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks has been very impressive this season and this surely helped them beat Miami and Lakers as the top team in sales.
Anthony leapfrog to the No. 1 spot on the league’s sales list Tuesday, moving past LeBron James and becoming the first Knicks player at the top since the first list was released in 2001-02. This goes to show that you don’t need a China man to sell but you just need to win and play well.
Anthony was No. 4 last year on the list, which is based on sales at the NBA Store in New York and on NBAStore.com since last November.
