Wall, Wizards Takes Pivotal Game 5

John Wall had the game high 14 assists and added 20 points on the board to take the pivotal game 5 against the Atlanta Hawks. Streaky shooting from Wizards forward Otto Porter and guard Bradley Beal was also a huge factor against the Atlanta Hawks. Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 27 points on an 11 shots made out of 22 he attempted while Otto Porter had the hot hands, contributing 17 points while shooting 75% field goals percentage.
Dennis Schroder lead the Hawks with 29 points and 11 assists while Paul Millsap scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. However it wasn’t enough for the Atlanta Hawks and some turnovers cost them during the crunch time. Atlanta had 11 turnovers in the game while Washington only had 7. The Hawks also shot poorly at the free-throw line making only 14 shots out of 21.
Washington Wizards finished the game with a score of 103-99 against the Atlanta Hawks to take a commanding 3-2 series lead with Game 6 set for Atlanta on Friday.
