Busy weekend for Boxing Fans!

Weekend will deliver multiple exciting match ups for boxing fans!

January 28 (29 Manila Time)
at Fantasy Springs Casino Resort in Indio California
Two Mexican warriors will battle for WBC Super featherweight crown in a highly anticipated bout. The defending champion Francisco “El Bandido” Vargas (23-0-2,17) will try his best to defend his title against WBO interim Super featherweight champion Miguel “El Alacran” Berchelt (30-1,27).
Both Mexican warrior are well known for their all out performance so the fans are expecting fire works for this fight.
In the undercard hard hitter Japanese Takashi Miura (30-3-2,23) and tough Mexican Miguel Roman (56-11,43) will fight in a 12 rounds WBC Superfeatherweight title eliminator. The winner of this fight will have a chance to get a title shot and will face the winner of Vargas-Berchelt showdown.

at MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada

Showtime will air world title triple header this weekend. Unbeaten WBA “Super” World featherweight champion Carl “The Jackal” Frampton (23-0, 14 KOs) and former three-division world champion Leo “El Terremoto” Santa Cruz (32-1-1, 18 KOs) will meet again in a world title rematch.
In undercard WBC World lightweight champion Monte Negro’s Dejan “Dynamite” Zlaticanin (22-0,15) will make his first world title defense against  Mickey Garcia (35-0,29) who will attempt to become a 3 divisional world champion.
Fight card will also feature UK’s IBF Featherweight world champ Lee Selby (23-1,8) vs Argentinean Jonathan Victor Barros (41-4-1,22) with Selby’s title at stake.
